We walked in late on a Monday nite, the kitchen was closing but the manager let us in . We sat at the bar and had some wonderful small plates and some very good drinks. We had been traveling and were enroute home, but if we lived anywhere near this resturant it would become a regular spot for us.

It was so good I wish there was a 6 star selection. It was a good restaurant with good food and drinks. I had a kiddie meal of French fries and cheese toast that was very good and chocolate pate was good too. And the decoration

This is the first time that I have eaten lunch at Moonstone's. I have had dinner here numerous times and always enjoyed the atmosphere and the food, so I suggested going to Moonstone's for lunch with a couple of family members. I ordered the tacos, which were excellent. Two family members ordered the Joe burger, and both said the burgers... More

Moonstones is a definite pleasure to find in an area that tends to focus on bistro-grill-pasta-pizza places. The tapas/small plates menu at Moonstones was large, varied, and well prepared. There are also large-plate entrees, but frankly I saw few people ordering them on the busy weeknight I was there. My party of 3 ordered 12 small plates altogether (which btw... More

Hi Friend, Thanks so much for writing! We pride ourselves on providing the local community with a progressive, and dynamic “urban dining experience,” including an incredible array of global tapas and raw bar items. And you're right! Oysters are available every Monday for $1 from 3-6pm (while they last!) Our sister restaurant Cobblestones also does "Buck-a-Shuck" every Tuesday from 3-6-... More

We had a nice lunch outside on the patio and Jenna, our server, was very pleasant and accommodating. The menu offered many choices. We enjoyed the Thai shrimp salad (dressing with a kick). The Korma meatballs were pretty good. And the Moscow Mule cocktail was refreshing and much to my liking with strong ginger notes. Can't wait to come back... More

My husband and I will decide at last minute to go out to dinner but can't find a place locally without a long wait time. Every time we come to moonstones we don't have a wait. The seating is neat and reminds me of a place the brat pack would patron. The oysters here are ice cold and delicious. The... More

I tried this place for the first time this past week and while I was initially disappointed - they introduced a revised menu the day I visited and they had removed something I had been wanting to try (Lamb Chops), I decided to stay and give it a try ... good thing I did ... the staff were great -... The atmosphere is nice and the wiat staff is very attentive. The truffle fries must be tried. Beyond that, the menu is somewhat electic and may not meet everyone's wishes. Their other location, Cobblestone's, has a much better overall menu selections. Good place to go but check out the menu online first.

Thank you so much TravelForLife! When the old Ground Round became available, the owners couldn't resist the great location. But being only 5 miles away from the original "Stones" restaurant (Cobblestones of Lowell), decided to go completely different from the existing American centered tavern environment. So... Global tapas was born in Chelmsford!! Hope you can visit again soon! More
