Not just amazing food, but amazing people. They went above and beyond to make my mother's birthday memorable and delicious. It's becoming more and more rare nowadays to have a business make not only a personal connection, but a meaningful personal connection, and they did...just that. WOW, WOW, WOW, I can't say enough about them. Five Plus Stars, don't walk, run to this business and let them show you what they did me, you wont bew dissapointedMore
Excellent chicken pot pie with gravy. The hermit cookies were amazing! The turnovers were delicious!
The most delicious and soft hermit I have ever eaten…. And the 6 inch chicken pie was just enough for the two of us! Loaded with chicken and veggs, just enough gravy to hold it together… oh and a side of gravy for those that...like their chicken swimming. Haha. I will let you know about the Can’t wait to cut into the Apple pie and peach/strawberry pie. 10/10 yum factor and the staff was major attentive!More
Been away for almost two years but I got the chance to visit this September. Got my usual Wild Blueberry Pie, oh man is all I’ve got. My disappointment came when I discovered no small Lemon Merengue on that particular day, bummed. After finishing our...2nd pie came immediate depression, yes it was gone. Great place, consistently superb, just love it. Cya come spring 23.More
I had heard Marion's had great sweet & savory pies, delicious baked breads, and an awesome lobster roll lunch. I went for the lobster roll since I'm not the biggest fan of "pies". It was absolutely awesome! Lots of delicious lump lobster meat tossed in...a light dressing and a side of the classic cape cod chips - perf! For $25, it was a delicious and satisfying summer meal. The shop itself is small but super cute, and very "cape cod". It felt nostalgic and fun to hop into the little shop and peek at all the yummy treats behind the counter while I put in my order for the lobster roll. The service was speedy and attentive. I highly recommend this hidden gem on the outskirts of Chatham!More
Excellent pie and crust! We stumbled across this shop on our way back from Chatham So happy to have stopped. The peach strawberry was delicious! We also purchased the Shepard’s Pie which we haven’t tried yet but will for dinner. So excited to try that...raved about pie.More
This is the first bad review I think I've ever written! Marion's, a once wonderful pie house has now become a >customer service nightmare<!! And when I said I'd write a review about my experience, the reply was, "Oh, it doesn't matter. We have plenty...of stars" Maybe, but that's AWFUL! As a business owner - we ALWAYS care! Here's what happened: I drove 20 minutes to pick up my pies, ordered 5 days in advance, It was 2 hours after the 12:30 pm pick up began. The pies weren't ready. They were still "in the oven" and I >should come back after another hour.< Come back? When I've already done what they told me to do? I should drive another 60 minutes (back and forth 3 more times) because they can't call when THEY KNEW they'd be late? They admitted the "bake order was set" the night before. "Oh, we're too busy to call." And I guess they are too busy to know they usual bake order experience building since 2003? Obviously, these pies aren't THAT good to waste 80 minutes of driving time ever again. What makes me the maddest is they were snotty about it all. Well Marion's, you lost this customer after 17 years and I'll do my best to let people know that your business has grown to not care about your customer service reputation any longer.More
I was really hoping that Susan would have been a little bit apologetic with her behavior and the display she put on at our shop today. What a role model for a group of young kids some working their first summer job. Thank god they...More
Wished I had stopped in sooner, as I discovered this little place on the last day of our Chatham vacation and didn't realize they had lunch/dinner type to go food as well as their fruit pies. Their pies are amazing as well - had the...strawberry rhubarb one! They also have breakfast muffins, etc and to go lasagna and other dinner like meals. Worth checking out. Small parking spaces but quick service in and out. One table in front to sit outside I saw.More
The best pies, pastries both savory and sweet, a must stop anytime on the Cape, our annual stop, chatham muffins, chicken pot pie and apple pie our favorites, you can ahead and order, I usually do, especially if you want the pastries, everything goes quick...and when they are gone they are gone, as a cancer survivor I applaud the support ! We are here for a few more days and will be back and See you next yearMore
Our car cannot drive by Marion's without stopping! Yesterday, we had been at a local restaurant for lunch and stopped by for dessert at Marion's. We chose chocolate chip cookie, hermit, oatmeal cookie and linzer cookie. Happy driving eating yummy cookies!! We've tried many of...their items in the past. Loved them all!! Try the seafood casserole if you want something scrumptious and full of good seafood!!More
We stopped at Marion's Pie shop before leaving to go home to NY. I ordered the apple crumb pie, berry pie and chicken pot pie to go. We ate them when we got home that afternoon and they were delicious. Too bad we don't have...a pie shop by where we live!More
Stopped in to pick up a couple pies and ended up staying for lunch. Wonderful chicken salad sliders on their own rolls. 2 per order and they are really full sandwiches so best to share 1 order leaving room for some great pie for dessert....The key lime and the peach are outstanding. This is a repeat place for sure.More
We bought a bunch of savory pies for dinner and sweet pies for dessert. My friends enjoyed the chicken pot pie the most, and my favorite was the beefsteak pie. Marion's provides containers of extra gravy for the pot pies. We also loved the spinach...quiche for breakfast. The buttery Parker House Rolls are oversize and a bargain at 75 cents each. The staff was friendly and quite patient with our group of four who had trouble deciding. I bought a few extras on my way out of town for the freezer!More
We tried many sweets from Marion's and were not disappointed. We'll try more the next time we visit! Yum!
