We're on vacation on the Cape this week, and decided to head back to Chatham today to revisit the beach where we got engaged last spring, and the restaurant where we went for lunch to celebrate. The place is very lively during peak season and it doesn't matter if it is Tuesday at noontime. Our steamers were very sweet, but... More

I love the decor and general atmosphere of this place! It was certainly noisy at around 9 pm, but that did not deter from the experience. Our waitress seemed slightly uninterested and wanted to be done with us as soon as possible, but other than that everything was excellent. The bar area is a huge asset, enjoyed sitting there very... As fish and chips or a fishwich, the cod filets are done to perfection. The atmosphere is that of a favorite beach area hangout.

Highly popular restaurant in center of high class shopping. Food good. Atmosphere old and quite noisy. But for family it was great. Make reservations and they will text you when your table is ready. Steak slightly overdone so order med. rare. Typical Cape seafood menu with nicely fried calamari, good fried shrimp and clams. Note: whole belly clams are expensive... More

We stopped for a quick lunch and wanted fresh seafood. The lobster roll did not disappoint us! The lobster bisque was very good as well.

We asked one of the local store owners where to go for dinner, he suggested the Chatham Squire. He said to go to the tavern side, that's where the locals go. We took his advice and it was very good. The best fish and chips I've had since England! Expensive, but good. Fast service too. Out dinners were out before... More

We arrived Saturday eve and after settling in our rental house headed to the Squire. While the main dining room was packed we lucked out at the Tavern side and got a table (1st come 1st serve) quickly. With cold Harpoon on tap we enjoyed entrees of fresh swordfish and cod with light breading. While August is rocking peak season... More

We stopped at Squire restaurant for a casual lunch on a Friday afternoon. The place was busy, but there were tables available. Beer was good nothing special. The cod sandwich was outstanding. This is a bar atmosphere. The back bar was quiet enough for conversations. Front bar was noisy. Staff was efficient. Service was pretty quick. I can see why... More

We come here at least twice during our week of vacation. It's always an excellent experience be it a snack with cocktails or dinner. Great NE clam chowder and their fishwich is always perfect. Oh, and don't forget the servers who are awesome too Gretchen, Tom and Paul are our faves.
