Really tasty food in authentic location. Chowder is delicious and even though fish is fried, batter is light and doesn't taste greasy. Seal watching after dinner was an added bonus.

It was very interesting to see the fishing boats come into the pier and watch them unload their catch. Bonus was seeing the seals so close to shore! The market was much smaller than I envisioned, and selection of fish was adequate. We ordered clam strip baskets which were delicious. For dinner we took home shrimp and scallops which we... More

The menu of prepared food is limited to fried seafood. You can also buy fresh fish to take home to cook. The staff were were a little disorganized in the kitchen and made a mistake on our order, but no biggie. There are a few picknick tables out in the parking lot, but they werent a safe place for small... More

Seals are as excited as tourists to see what is coming off the fishing boats. Great viewing and means to purchase that days catch!

Enjoyed watching the boats unload and the fishermen get their boats ready to go to sea! Be sure to take the seal tour! We went on the smaller boat with an older gentleman whose family has been in this business for years and you definitely want to go with him for a more personalized trip!

A sign in the market says, "If it's fresher than what we sell, it's still swimming." You can see that for yourself just by watching as the fishermen come into the pier and unload. We stopped to see bin after bin of skate being unceremoniously dumped down a chute...thousands and thousands of skate, sliding into the maw of the market... More

I absolutely loved this place! It is right on the pier, so you can watch the fisherman unload the fish from the boats. Fascinating for a city girl!! We bought take out from the fish market and ate it right on the pier. There are a few picnic table and benches. We took in the sights and sounds as we... More

This is a great place for buying fish straight of the boat. Eat fish&chips (best I've ever had) or lobster roll, and watch the fishing boats come, while seals gather round for scraps.

It was raining that day, so we drove to Chatham to check out the railroad depot, (my grandson is a Thomas the Train kid). Heard about the Pier Fish market and thought we would check it out. Went into the market, looked good. Prices were little high, so we went to check out the pier. Fishing boats were coming in... More
