Consistently creative and extraordinary food. We've been enjoying Del Mar for years because the fresh seafood food and service are superb. Our favorites include the pan roasted halibut with apple/fennel salad, Portuguese little neck clams, steak salad, fried artichoke hearts. Service is excellent.

This was our first time here and it was such a great experience from beginning to end my husband and I insisted on writing a review, highly recommend!! A soon as we walked in we were greeted and well taken care of by Kiley (thanks...again!). We sat at the bar and the martinis were just as good at the service. Jillian and Connor were super attentive!The salmon quinoa bowl and filet were both fresh and delicious! Will absolutely be returning!More

I don’t usually write reviews but after my experience here I felt obligated to. Me, my husband and another couple went in for dinner and let me say first the food was wonderful. But when it came to the service it was below average. Everyone...has bad days but it was clear our server was just rude, annoyed and passive aggressive with us. It made our experience poor but thankfully the lady who brought our food over with a smile on her face was very kind (we had to tip her for making our experience better). I had to go back to our receipt to find out our servers name was Jen. Now seeing other reviews it doesn’t seem to be her first time. To say the least I love the restaurant and will continue to recommend it to people but will definitely advise them to request to not have her as a server as I will do from now on. My rating is solely based on service. The food would get 5 stars.More

Many great meals in the past but wait staff "JEN" set a new standard of sequential failures compounded by rudeness, ineptitude, and incompetence seemingly endorsed by Mgmt such that I shall no longer advise friends, coworkers or family to visit Del Mar. Many other high...quality restaurants in Chatham but this one might be avoided.More

Wonderful dinner in a comfortable place. The Fig & Prosciutto Pizza was amazing! Best I ever had! Great salads too.

We dined at Del Mar on a friday night. We arrived at 7:45pm and had no reservation but after about 30 minutes we were able to sit at the bar and eat dinner. FYI the bar has a separate waiting list so if you want...to sit there just tell the bartender to put your name on the bar list. The food was delicious. The drinks were fantastic. The staff was great. Loved everything about it. Highly recommend it. Will go back if ever back in Chatham.More

The restaurant was recommended by our resort and it did not disappoint. We had a fabulous meal. The restaurant was really busy for a Friday night and they do pack them in (not like NYC but tables are close) but the service and food was...exceptional. We both had the chicken with gnocchi dish and key lime pie for dessert. Can’t wait for a return visit.More

My husband and I ate here on a very busy night in the middle of the week. They were turning folks away at the door if they didn’t have a reservation. My husband described his cod dish as “the best meal i’ve Eaten in a...long time.” They have a lovely latticed area, which made us feel safer due to the flow of fresh air. They may not have the water view that one craves when on the Cape but they sure do have the food.More

Great, lively ambiance. Person who sat us and servers all very friendly and welcoming. Drinks and apps came out quickly and good pace for mains. We enjoyed a wide variety -fried artichokes stuffed with goat cheese, ravioli app, caprase salad, duck, cod special, tuna, lobster...tostada app, expresso and dessert. All well prepared, fresh and delicious. Looking forward to coming back and want to try their pizzas.More

No reservation required, just put your name on the bar list and they can usually seat you pretty quickly, even on the busiest summer nights.

My husband, two children & I dined here on a busy Monday night in August. Our meals were exceptional! Mine, the halibut, hubby, the tuna, and the kids shared a crispy thin crust cheese pizza and bolognese pasta. Shared a key lime & blueberry pie...for dessert. Best meal we had in Chatham on our two week vacation! So nice to find a quality restaurant that adults and kids can all enjoy. Many families dining together! Busy family restaurants tend to get a bit loud and unruly. Hats off to the staff for doing their best to keep it peaceful and enjoyable for all its patrons while serving delicious meals to everyone!More

We weren't able to get reservations but arrived early enough to get a seat at bar for dinner. Bartender was fantastic and the food even better. Nowhere else we went measured up to our meal at Del Mar.
