I love the outside deck - great atmoshpere, waitress was great, drinks fabulous... but honeslty the food was hit or miss. I'm a vegan and will often eat dairy because of lack of vegan options. Only option here - salad. Sad that a chef can't put one veggie hot dish on a menu. Hot pastrami looked great, mac n' chz... More

The chicken wings are excellent. You've got to get them naked with hot sauce on the side. They got rid of the rude bartender. Salads are good. Drinks are a better pour than my last review. Great view of Buttermilk Bay. Will go back.

We tried this place based on reviews. The deck was awesome on this beautiful day. The food was OK. We both had broiled Scrod. The portion was huge but the fish was a liltte mealy. Not sure what kind it was. Not cod or haddock. Service left a bit to be desired. We asked what sides came with the fish... More

This was our first time here after meaning to go for sometime. The food was pretty good, worth going again The view on the deck while eating is amazing. We tried the lobster bisque which was good. My broiled haddock was okay, seemed fresh was cooked good, a little boring ( but then broiled is boring, usually). The onion rings... More

Stopped for lunch on a weekday. Ordered onion rings, fish and chips, and a Cape Cod Reuben. Onion rings had a thick batter and tasted as though they were reheated. Batter on the fried fish was thinner, but still bland tasting. Fries were mediocre and Cole slaw could have used more dressing and taste. Go there for a drink and... More

Captain Als has great views, the service is slow, the food is ok. I have come a number of times hoping that the service would get better, but it doesn't. But the relaxed atmosphere for a drink, or to take your boat to still makes it a great find

The view was what we were looking for and friendly service. Food was very good. We would definitely go back if we make it back to this area.

Service great but the lobster roll was the worst if for 27.99 you are expecting an actual "piece" of lobster. It was all ground up and in a gigantic stale 1/2 toasted bun.

Excellent food and a very nice view while eating in the outside area. Good drinks and a wide variety of choices in food and drink.

This place is really cute and the food is good. We stopped by for a bite to eat, we had a quahog and clam chowder. It was really good. We saw other people ordering food and it all looked good. The scenery is nice there. You over look Buttermilk bay.
