This restaurant has a unique way of offering fine dining niceties such as linens, crystal, and silver, without being pretentious. The staff was warm, friendly, and helpful and made for a very comfortable dining experience.

I hear the new Port Bistro location in Kingston is very good. Maybe that is why Sintra just isn't very good any more. Flat and over priced food. Bye bye

We've been to Sintra several times and loved it without exception. It's always been for family get-togethers. Food is great and the atmosphere is great for reuniting out of town couples. Romantic diners and special events also would work well. Go there and enjoy.

It is a small city built on a hill, with a small summer palace and a castle. Narrow streets with small shops. The entrance for the palace is 10 euro and it is medium worth to pay it, as it is a poor palace, but it gives you a good idea of the decoration of the period

Love the food and service. Most often, but not on our last visit. Four of us were seated and I found my chair was "really wobbly" to a point of being slightly dangerous. I told our server, and suggested she bring a chair form one of the several empty stations. She said, "oh don't worry, if you fall off, we'll... More

We went to Sintra on a freezing cold night in Boston. Minus 9 degrees. What a pleasure it was to step inside. Warm and welcoming...All the waiters and waitresses are trained in hospitality. It gives you a lift or a lilt just entering the place...We had an especially warm and happy waitress...Our food was wonderful, as was the wine we... More

We recently had a pre-trip dinner here (party of 4) on the suggestion of our daughter who had been here before. What a great looking, cozy place. Love the open kitchen design. Everything we had was outstanding....bolognese, chicken, appetizers, drink/wine selection. Just more than I ever expected. It has a nice large bar area in addition to a more formal... More
