We have been a number of times, and as described in most other reviews, the location is the reason it exists. Food is OK, gazpacho is excellent, and from there it goes right downhill. Wait staff is uninterested, bar staff acts as if they're doing a favor rather than providing a service and the front staff is deplorable. The hostesses... More

Fav for locals and but newer patrons can be disappointed. For locals, this is an institution. Mud slides, crowded and noisy dining, sitting outside with cable reel tables and goldfish in cups. Beautiful sunsets, food average but acceptable since it's the Chart Room. This is the Irish riviera after all, so just go with the flow.

Food is about average, cost above significantly average. Go for lunch. Good quahog chowder. A place to "See & be seen" which accounts for its popularity. View of the boats is pleasant (daytime), outdoor seating for cocktails at sunset is nice. More crowded tha it's worth

Small portion sizes and somewhat tasteless food. The kids meals had a small packet of potato chips which seemed inadequate. The place just didn't live up to expectations.

A week in Cape Cod makes you long for variety, all those great lobster rolls, shrimp cocktails and fried clams are great indeed but there are only so many you can have! The menu at the Chart Room is no different, although execution is rock solid, that is well worth highlighting. What is truly special about it is the setting,... More

If this restaurant wasn't located on the water in a scenic location it would surely be out of business. Surely a great view is key, but outstanding service and quality food are also essential. The owners of this restaurant don't even respond to TA guest reviews. I Guess that speaks for itself. First attempt to dine there was last night.... More

We came to Kingman Yacht Center in a boat and stayed for two nights. The Chart Room is located right on the water with a great view. It's been there for years and clearly enjoys a huge following with a lot of locals, plus vacationers and marina people. They have an outdoor seating area where yes, you can order an... More

Great find. Has three parts: outdoor seating, outdoor dining and indoor dining. Each has a great view of the marina and boats. The chowder was thick and creamy, and the sandwiches were good. The mudslide was delicious. Very crowded last Saturday night. Get there early and stay late.

We had a terrific family dinner for 10. The place is open air so it was warm and very, very loud - perfect for our family of 10 with little ones. The service was very friendly and helpful and the seafood was delicious (great lobster salad). A rocking Saturday night bar scene with a piano player made for a fun... More

I generally avoid the Chart Room for dinner but apparently the key is to come early (5-5:30) for a table, faster service and less noise. My wife and daughter loved the mud slides and we enjoyed their sirloin and broiled fish dinners. Service was better than average and the prices were acceptable. I do enjoy the atmosphere and the view,... More
