This is why you go here for the Lobster Sandwich on Portuguese Bread ($27). The rest of the menu is just "OK". The view is Cape Cod, boats, harbor, sunset. Super busy the dinner reservations are handed down generation to generation, you can't get one! All are taken!! Go for lunch.

The Chart Room is located on a beautiful harbor. Upon arrival you get that "I'm on Cape Cod" feeling immediately. While waiting for a table you can get a drink and sit down overlooking beautiful boats and enjoy a fresh breeze. They have a piano bar with a friendly and open atmosphere. Great chowder and lobster.

First of all, the chowder was lukewarm and potatoes undercooked. Then the steamers ($25/serving) were presented with many of the clams cracked and unattractive. Cracked steamers should never be brought to the table. The noise level gets worse every year. How I wish the old Chart Room days were back.

My friends and I celebrate birthdays at the Chart Room every year. We sit in the Adirondack chairs and sip their signature frozen strawberry mudslides and watch the sunset. We have never eaten there because you cannot have food on the outside area, but you can eat inside the restaurant or in the covered deck. It is very busy so... More

Stopped by for a cocktail, we sat outside looked at all the boats in the marina. It is a beautiful place. The staff was very friendly.

We decided to go based on several recommendations. We expected the crowd, so that wasn't a problem. We were told 45 minute wait, but it actually was less than 10 minutes. So far, so good..... Both of us grew up on the ocean, I on the North Shore and my GF on the South Shore, love our seafood! Ordered the... More

Had dinner at The Chart Room for the first time and really enjoyed the experience. Had a bit of a wait but it passes quickly while sitting with a drink on the patio with a great view of the harbor and sunset. The food was very good, get the mussels appetizer, and the piano player and singer created a nice... More

Our very first stop on our cape cod vacation. A great spot with history to boot. Food and drink did not disappoint. Highly suggest.

The frozen mudslides are fantastic (their signature drink), the outside area overlooking the marina is a great place to socialize with friends and have drinks before dinner. The "outside" dining area is busy, and loud so you must like that sort of atmosphere to enjoy dinner. The food is very good - schrod is very fresh and lazy lobster delicious.... More
