As a first timer I ordered a pizza with the sweet sauce and a pizza with the 'Italian' sauce. Sweet pizza too sweet for me liked the Italian sauce pizza...crust is thin tasty everything was fresh...didn't have mushrooms so can't comment on if they are canned or not...shop was clean and smelled awesome.

I brought a friend of mine from Rhode Island, the mecca of sweet sauce, and this was too sweet for him! Waaaaaaaay too sweet for me, but if that's what you like, this is definitely the spot! If you like fresh mushrooms, however, you're S.O.L.---they use canned mushrooms. Again, a personal thing, but a major quality ruiner for me.

They have a great sweet sauce and keep their menu simple but sufficient for those for a strong pizza craving. If you order the veggie pizza, get to it early as it can get a little soggy if left for too long.

Little Italy has been here for a long time and is one of the first to "specialize" in sweet sauce. This sauce, when matched with savory stuff, makes for a pizza that is hard to stop eating. Some of the negative reviews I've seen have been written before the latest owners have taken it over. The pizza is our family's... More

We've tried several other pizza places but we always come back for Little Italy. Our favorite is the meat lovers and it's reasonably priced considering it's the best!

Little Italy Pizzeria has been in business for at least 30 years. I think I have been a customer for most of this time. One thing that has never changed is the signature deliciously sweet pizza sauce and the huge single slice of pizza offering. I find it hard to drive by without stopping in for a slice. The owner... You HAVE to appreciate a pizza w/a VERY sweet sauce. This used to be one of my favorite pizza places on the North Shore, however I hadn't been in quite a while so I figured I was overdue. I just ordered a cheese pizza with garlic. The sauce was even sweeter than I ever remember, too sweet for me who... More
