This place has the best burgers and ice cream around!!! The service is quick and the kids that work the summertime are super nice and helpful, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for really good cheaply priced food!

Love it make sure you try their custom sundae called the hurricane comes in multiple awesome flavors loaded with toppings and hot fudge .my favorite Oreo!!! Comes stuffed with chunks of fresh cookies. dog-friendly mine loves the doggie ice cream.

Sandy's Chill Spot Ice Cream is an above-average ice cream stop, with so many hard serve, Frozen Yogurt, Dole Whip, and soft-serve flavors. This place sits on the side of the road in pretty desolate Bellingham, although a busy street, its in the middle of a field not really close to anything else. I had heard the place was good so I figured I would give it a...try for both dinner and ice cream. This is the only ice cream place around for miles so you can imagine it gets pretty crowded. For dinner, the menu is your typical summer menu, with tons of selections of grilled items like hot dogs, grilled cheese, burgers and seafood. I ordered the fish and chips and it was excellent and hit the spot. The burgers are cooked to order and hot dogs are two choices, beef or Kayme. Fries are excellent The ice cream menu on the other hand is very large, with tons of soft serve and hard ice cream flavors, sundaes and even frappes and shakes and Italian ice and frozen lemonade. I ordered the Reese's Sundae and it was delicious and was just the right size. The prices here are just right, what you would expect ($30 dinner for 4) and the staff is as fast as they could be with the crowds that emerge on this place on a summer night.More

Nice place just off main streets in Bellingham near old high school. Window service and some seating inside. Great selection of "clam shack/burgers" summer variety - will need to go back.
