We had been to a Melting Pot in Gatlinburg, TN and absolutely loved the experience. We had decided to visit the Bedford-Burlington location, and found it not as nice. Nonetheless, as a birthday gift to my fiance, we drove over an hour to try again....We were unpleasantly surprised when we were told before 6pm that they were "booked for the evening" and would not be able to accommodate a table for 2. Others in the foyer also seemed surprised, and one gentlemen stepped around the corner and asked the hostess about all of the empty tables. He was told they only had 4 servers working, and they were turned away as well. Without any offer to make a future reservation or other customer friendly overture, it seemed obvious that this location was simply just not interested in our business. It must be nice to have the luxury to turn away business, I guess I'll be spending my hard earned money elsewhere in the future, as we had to on this occasion. And to think, I used to tell other people about them. You can bet I will be now as well.More

Pre-Covid I worked around the corner from the restaurant and my coworkers raved about the Melting Pot so it took a few years to finally visit :) Took the family out to celebrate my dads birthday. Our waitress was amazing and was with us at...each step of the cooking process and recommended cooking styles based on everyone’s choices. We are all had a great time and most likely we will be coming back again. The portions was just perfect (again because our waitress was amazing and recommended to not overdue it etc).More

We had a very enjoyable meal. Going to Melting Pot is like going out to a show. A nice return to pre-pandemic times. Looking forward to our next visit.

The experience and concept are fun: however the food was very subpar. For the cheese dip it would be so much better with crusty bread. The bread they provided seemed old and not very good. The main meal was awful. The only thing I liked...was the dessert. I was shocked when we got the bill. $200 for three of us😩. I would not go back unless it was just for dessert. The service was good, but the bad food and high price tag would led me not to recommend to others or visit again.More

I wanted to treat my boyfriend to what I thought would be a nice dinner experience for his birthday. He had never been here before and it had been at least 20 years since I had been here. I looked on their website and saw...that reservations were required, so I made the reservation a week before and the woman on the phone was extremely nice. The night of our reservation we enter the restaurant and see they have a sign posted that there is a 90-minute time limit for each reservation (that wasn’t posted anywhere on their site). Our night started off great, the waitress was very nice and had to explain a little further how the process worked in understanding the menu. The restaurant and restrooms were clean. We were seated in an area which, at first, we had to ourselves though shortly after there was a family seated in the booth directly behind us and they had misbehaving toddlers the entire time. If the restaurant is trying to social distance, I don’t know why they were seated directly behind us. We were recommended the complete fondue experience for 2. My boyfriend and I were almost done eating our entrée when our waitress came over and said “Unfortunately there isn’t enough time and you’ll need to take your dessert fondue to go.” I look at her in confusion. “You arrived at 4:04 and it’s now 5:20. Your time limit is almost up and there isn’t enough time for the dessert.” I saw the time limit sign when I walked in but really?? Kicking out customers that aren’t even done with their meal yet and are paying a lot of money! I told her we don’t live together so it’s pointless to have it to go since we can’t enjoy it together. She gave me a raincheck coupon to come back for a free dessert fondue. Why recommend the complete experience when there’s not enough time to have that experience? We were already there for 90 minutes so what’s another 15 minutes to finish our meal? When we left not a single person was waiting at the door to be seated. The restaurant had far too many empty tables. There was absolutely no reason to kick us out. The food was good, yes, but the experience was completely ruined by this ridiculous time limit rule. I understand Massachusetts has put a time limit restriction on dining, but again, there was no one waiting to be seated. The only reason I would go back is to use the coupon because I’ve already spent the money for it, otherwise I have no intention of ever returning. Maybe increase the time limit to 2 hours? Or enforce that rule when the restaurant is busy? I live 45 minutes away from the restaurant without traffic and my boyfriend lives 1 hour 20 minutes away without traffic. It’s almost not even worth it to go back for just the dessert.More

We were a party of 6 celebrating 3 birthdays. Because there was six of us, we had two pots. For the cheese we selected the Wisconsin Chedder and the Fiesta.. both delicious! Most of us order the Classic for the protein, and it was all...super fresh and full of flavor, we all had beautiful fresh salads.. Both our cooking liquids were also very good, And of course there really isnt anything better then chocolate fondue... which was decadent. It is slow between courses, but we liked the break from all the food.. Our waitress (it was either Michelle or Melissa) was great!!! Manager also came and checked on us twice.. Excellent service.. It is pricy.. but for us, it is a special occasion place.. not a quick, grab a bite.. very much enjoyed by the whole family.More

Don’t get me wrong, the food was so fresh. Also Justin was a great waiter. But it was my first time and I didn’t realize I cook my own food. Hey I do that at home. We choose the broth and didn’t get any flavor...into our meat. Just not the best! Great place for conversations .More

We travel quite a bit for work. It is nice to have an option for dinner where we can continue the conversations after work and not feel rushed. The Melting Pot provided enough options from gluten free to veggies for everyone in our party.

My fiancee had eaten here before and want to celebrate your anniversary here. I must say it was a great choice. We arrived a little early for your reservation and had a cocktail at the bar. The bartender was nice and helpful. We were seated...at the time of your reservation and since this was new to me the waitress explained everything. We had a nice little private table for two that was secluded from the others which are nice for it was a celebrate of us. We had a four-course meal. The waitress explained all our options for each course. Each course was prepared with fresh vegetables or meats and the pots were prepared right at our table. This was a great restaurant for couples with private tables. There are more open larger table is needed. Be aware that this is not a fast meal which for us was just what we wanted. A nice relaxing time together to enjoy a meal.More
