I’ve always had to travel through Westminster for work and have stopped at Artisan frequently. I really appreciate the great food, great cocktails (the bee’s knees is quite literally the bee’s knees) great service, and on the weekends amazing specialty dishes. I don’t usually make reviews...but I felt the need to show the place some love. It’s the best place in town if your not looking for 3 giant portions of potatoes and a gallon of cheap beer. If you go on the weekends and get their specialty dishes, especially the lamb chops. I really don’t understand the complaints here, the place isn’t overpriced, but it’s not fast food, it’s not take out, it’s about the only place that appreciates quality over quantity in town.More

Went with a group of 6 people. Server came right away and gave us water. The special was a bottle of wine and a cheese plate or cheese pizza for $25. Two of us ordered that (their house wine is tasty). The cheese plate came...with 3 tiny chunks of cheese, 6 extremely large perhaps wheat crackers, a bowl of olives, mustard and some (maybe 10 nuts in all) seasoned mixed nuts. It wasn't enough to share, and not sure why the crackers were so huge for three tiny pieces of cheese. We ordered sandwiches, two of us had the crab melt-terrible. It was nearly all bread. I actually opened my sandwich to see if they forgot the crab, it was so small. The crab medallions were good, tiny portion of crab, but my friend thought the balsamic dressing was way too sweet. I've been here before and enjoyed their bruschetta and their pizzas are interesting. Everything is very overpriced for the quality of the food. I spent nearly $40 for dinner and left hungry. Service is ok, but no one is ever in there, so they don't really have an issue with that. The server is not very friendly. She seems to have been there forever but doesn't seem to enjoy what she's doing.More

Hi Jean! I'm sorry that your experience wasn't great, but we thank you for your review anyway. The title of your review is misleading however, we aren't a sandwich shop and our crab cake and crab medallions are both made the exact same, measured out...More

The menu is tapas style and the food pairs well with wine and beer. With 9 rotating taps of craft beer and 6 taps of wine and 200 different wines as well as craft cocktails. This place has a friendly atmosphere and is a great...place to bring a date. I recommend it.More

I’ve enjoyed each visit here (perhaps 20 and counting). The wait staff and chef are absolutely fantastic. The menu is creative and food expertly prepared. My only recommendation would be that the owners could possibly be more hands on.

Relaxed atmosphere, offering outside seating in addition to the traditional indoor restaurant and wine bar. Excellent range of good wines and options (by the bottle, glass or on tap), as well as various beers on tap or bottled. But do not miss out on the...food! They have an excellent menu of appetizers and mains, and food quality is outstanding; delicious! Throw in the good service and you get a really good value, relaxed evening out.More
