A little out of the way family style restaurant blocks away from sometimes ravens traing camp at McDaniel college. Excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner, country fried chicken to die for. Also have home grown apples, corn and all their vegetables are grown there. Friendly local atmosphere .

Been here many times and was satisfied enough to return. This time, however, we were both very disappointed. My wife ordered her favorite chicken livers and they were way over cooked. Probably should have sent them back immediately, but our waitress served our food and disappeared. I had the Sunday Turkey special with mashed potatoes and dressing. The dressing was... More

I remember going here when my aunt first moved to Westminster and the place was great. We all ordered clubs, and it just didn't seem fresh like it used to be. Making it worse, my bacon was so dry, I chewed and chewed and had to spit it out. I was greatly disappointed when I pulled out several pieces of... More

Everything was very bland, and not very much of it at that, I went away hungry. You would think the by the way the people in this town talk about this place, it would be much better. Especially, since most people in Carroll County one $10 worth for only one dollar.

Our family goes to Baughers when we can. It is always a treat. The food and service is great. A very large menu full of fresh family-style and homemade selections. They also have a little market at the restaurant where you can purchase fresh produce and other items such as jams, jellies, sauces, etc. We love Baughers and support our... More

You can spend half a day here between the restaurant and everything else. It's very smart of them to have a restaurant serving their own vegetables/fruits, among many other items. Good quality food, as you would expect. Nothing to brag about, but comfort food is what we all need some times.

Went to Baugher's with my son and some of his teammates after a full day of lacrosse. Service was great and the food was good but what really stood out were the pies that we got for dessert...amazing!

This is down-home country fare in a no-frills setting. You won't find sparkly and fancy here, but you will find blue plate specials, blueberry hot cakes, and blue hairs (Granny needs a night out, too). And lots of things smothered in gravy. Comfort food complete with tasty homemade pies and ice cream for dessert. We enjoy eating breakfast here; our... More

If you like bland food, Baugher's will be heaven for you. And many people do like bland food--especially in Carroll County, Maryland. But the ice cream is very good--I love the pecan madness sundae. For my taste it's below average for restaurant meals (2 dots, it isn't offensive food, but so bland) and above average for the ice cream (4... More
