This is down-home country fare in a no-frills setting. You won't find sparkly and fancy here, but you will find blue plate specials, blueberry hot cakes, and blue hairs (Granny needs a night out, too). And lots of things smothered in gravy. Comfort food complete with tasty homemade pies and ice cream for dessert. We enjoy eating breakfast here; our... More

If you like bland food, Baugher's will be heaven for you. And many people do like bland food--especially in Carroll County, Maryland. But the ice cream is very good--I love the pecan madness sundae. For my taste it's below average for restaurant meals (2 dots, it isn't offensive food, but so bland) and above average for the ice cream (4... More

Dinner/lunch food ranks fair to blah. Service is ok but not great. What is great are the desserts. The pies and the ice cream are all home made. I would have dinner elsewhere and go there for dessert.

Bring your family here for comfort food! I love the hot turkey sandwich with gravy. Dessert is a must here as well! Homemade pies and ice cream! They have a great little gift shop and produce/garden center attached to the restaurant. There is even a small playground for the kids.

Baugher's has great, inexpensive food with homemade ice cream and pies for dessert. The fried chicken is worth the wait. The apple fritters are great. All of the food is freshly made and delicious.

Went out with the family for breakfast. People ordered a variety of things, eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes. They make their own sausage so it is very good. The service was great and the waitress kept up with all our drinks.

Food was average and coffee was poor. Really don't see why people continue to go there frequently. Had over easy eggs that were broken, cold toast without butter and very weak coffee. Oh well, not again.

Stopped in for lunch before stopping by the fresh picked vegetable stand. Friendly waitress approached immediately after we took our self serve seats. Menu is extensive and reasonably priced. I got the MR. B which is a sliced beef, cheese and fried onions on a kaiser roll and a basket of fries. My wife got the open faced fresh sliced... More

My favorite at Baugher's is the open face hot turkey sandwich with and fries/gravy. This is real turkey and they give you a nice portion.
