Always interesting choices and good food. Very casual atmosphere with a menu full of options for every taste. A regular go-to destination!

Food was ok but I felt rush to make a choice for my order. Being my first time there didn't like the rush and pushiness of the atmosphere

I read the reviews and got so excited about trying the spinach tofu cakes. After picking up my entree to go, I took an anticipatory forkful of my spinach tofu patties. Hmmmm, I wonder what they would taste like if the chef just added a little bit of seasoning to the mixture. The cakes were bland. The sweet potatoes undercooked... More

Based on the super nice servers recommendation, I got a Korean steak grilled cheese on sourdough bread with grilled onions. Simply outstanding!

Mark's Kitchen is a local place that has been in business for over 2 decades. It isn't fancy, more like a little local diner in terms of atmosphere, but the food is local, fresh and delicious. The Korean American family who owns it adds a Korean influence to many of the options--one of my favorites in warm weather is the... More

Wonderful, friendly, very Takoma neighborhood place. Been going here for more than 20 years, and you can get everything from kimchee to crab cakes. Lots of veggie and vegan options, but you can get bulgogi (Korean short ribs) too. Definitely something for everyone, and lots of smiles while you are there.

We were traveling through the area, and stopped at Mark's Kitchen based on TripAdvisor reviews. We were not disappointed. It's the kind of place I probably wouldn't have even noticed without looking for it. It's a bit small inside, but they make good use of the space they have. We were seated immediately, and our waitress was on top of... More

Been here many times before or after the Sunday farmers market. Good pancakes, great selection of fresh juices, and eclectic mix of Korean and vegan options. Always crowded, it's a Takoma Park institution.

It's true that not all dishes are fantastic, but this place is so neighborhood-friendly, and offers such a variety of tasty food for all palates (gluten free, vegan, carnivores, vegetarians, sweet cravers) in appealing recipes, that its a winner. Mark has done an amazing job keeping this place going for over 25 years, and he is beloved by locals. My... More

Very good service, tasty dishes, great selection. Salmon dish is quite good as well as the box dinner. Very good selection of beers not so great on wine.
