Historic Draw

Somewhere between Very Good and Average, but will err on the high side. The menu could use an update but the food ordered was good. Service was excellent. And, love the historic value of the site. we went during Christmas, and it was quiet but very warm and friendly.

Three of us ate here today (Thanksgiving) and all had wonderful meals! We had traditional Turkey dinner, crab cakes and filet with risotto. I would say it was a tie between the turkey and the filet - both were perfectly cooked and seasoned. I didn't expect much from the turkey but I was pleasantly surprised! Service was very attentive, the... More

I attended a local fundraiser and silent auction at which I won a six course meal with wine pairings. When I called to schedule this meal for two, I talked to one of the owners who was far from friendly. His attitude made me feel like he already had been paid for this meal and was doing me a favor... I found this town and this restaurant several years ago. I really look forward to visiting as I live out of state. I went near closing time on a Sunday night this time. I was seated promptly and well attended to. I had couscous seafood which was very good. I like it spicy so they brought me Tabasco sauce, my... More

The food was nothing special. I went here for a Sunday brunch by myself. I was pretty much ignored by the server. Once my food was delivered, she never looked my way again. I had to track her down to get my check. Nice atmosphere.

We only come here when there is a musical act we want to see. Here's the quick down and dirty: Food: usually pretty good. You can spend between $20-$37 on a dinner entree, or you can order off the bar menu or smaller plate menu and spend around $15. Vegetarian options are available and looked good. Desserts looked good as... More

My wife and I took a friend for her 84th birthday. We parked near the door, our table was ready, the server was a young intelligent and friendly fellow that was attentive but not overbearing. We each had different fare, top to bottom and, in the end, there was a lot of sharing going on because everything was so good!... More

I have had the pleasure of dining at Baldwins on maybe 15 occasions over the past year. We have popped in for a sandwich, enjoyed the six course wine dinner and had then host my company Christmas party. Food is always good and the menu changes regularly. My wife and I dine out regularly and I would put the Baldwins... More

I've eaten here 4 or 5 times in 3 years - I sometimes have trouble finding something appealing on the menu but part of that is because of my seafood allergy. I much prefer their lunch and/or brunch menu. The omeletes are very good and the mushroom bisque is outstanding. The seating is a little too packed together in my... More

The restaurant is lovely with very small tables with white linen. The wait staff is attentive. The reason for my visit was to have a good dinner....which I did not. They dress the menu with fancy terms which you need to ask the wait staff to interpret but their interpretation of corn nage was simply cream corn out of the... More
