Once a local favorite with a fabulous view of the Patuxent River and its boating activities, Stoney's Solomon's Pier restaurant has closed. Our favorites were the seafood and the Bloody Mary's mixed with Old Bay Seasoning.

A few of us got together for lunch. No one could decide what to get, it all seemed so yummy. We decided everyone would order an item and then we would device it 4 ways. We were doing really well until the crab soup got to the table....we fought over that like a pack of rabid wolves! We has to... More

We come here every year as a group of 20 or more. Some of us have seafood/fish allergies, and some of us are vegetarian. The ambiance is exceptional. The wait staff is wonderful. The menu is perfect--if you are a fish/seafood aficionado. I love being with my friends, but hate spending $6 on a lettuce, tomato, cucumber side salad. It... More

There is a single critical thing that visitors to Solomons, or those planning a visit, need to know: the restaurant is closed. The aging Solomons pier at the end of the boardwalk is, I am told, structurally unsound. Aging piers supporting the extended dock structure are in need of repair and replacement . . . a project that, for the... More

There were 3 of us that went to dinner. The food was good, however, they ran out of several dishes and the soup although good, it was room temperature. The food and the atmosphere was nicem

The atmosphere was great but we understand they are closing for structural reasons of the actual pier. Sadly the food and cleanliness had gone downhill recently as well.

We ended up walking out without even placing a drink order. We were seated immediately and since the bar was in the middle of the restaurant, there was no seat where you were away from the noise radiating from it. We were seated in an empty section of tables and the section behind us was half full. A group of... More

This is the best waterfront view to enjoy while relaxing with good seafood. The oysters are outstanding this time of year. Make that your first choice if going in fall or winter. Of course, the crab cakes have been famous for years. The fresh vegetables are a good choice when offered. We had lunch this visit but have enjoyed dinner... More

Our family did the taste of Solomon's and stopped by Stoney's......Crab Mac and Cheese..Fish tacos were awesome! The views of the water are serene and beautiful (lunch time). Recommend. Good service. Also, had the oysters..fresh and big.

I really enjoyed the Steamed and Drunken Clams. The Drunken clams came with a delightful mini loaf of bread which I enjoyed in the clam and beer broth. The view is the real star here and the food compliments the atmosphere.
