Typical local bar type place. The one in Baltimore and Annapolis have great music line ups. I think the food is better in Annapolis and is has a very cool basement bar also.

The beer is fantastic. The food is hit or miss however. I live a block away and would eat there more often if the food was consistent. The menu is priced for better food than they actually offer. That said, the atmosphere is nice and they have several different areas you can eat, depending on what kind of an atmosphere... More

Had lunch here while visiting & they had some of the best fish tacos I've ever had - absolutely delicious! I'll be back in the area in September & will be back to order more then. Service was very good too. I was in a bit of a time crunch & they were very accommodating about bringing me the check... More

We were entertaining a couple of business out-of-towners following an all-day event down in D.C. We've always had a pretty consistent experience at the Ram's Head Tavern in Savage, so we opted to go there. The weather was a little shaky that evening, and we arrived at the restaurant just after 7PM. The number of patrons at the Tavern level... More

The Ram's Head on Kent Island was one of our favorite haunts while we lived there, so we have been really trying to like the site at Savage Mill. No luck. It just is not up to the quality of food served on the island, at all. Only the good service saves this from a single star rating. Think we... More

Rams head used to have the most delicious seasoned fries. Then they switched to plain bland fries deserving of 2am Baltimore takeout at best. Their burgers are ok, but the new fries have really ruined the food for me!

About 40 of us gathered upstairs to celebrate the retirement of 5 members of our staff. The facility is very nice with outside areas and a bar for the after party. The service was excellent and the food although not fantastic was good. I would highly recommend this place for a large gathering.

The deck overlooking the Middle Patuxent River is always a great place to sit on a sunny day. Menu has many choices for everyone. The crab cakes, burgers, fish tacos, and salads are all tasty.
