We scheduled a “driving trip“ to “see the USA in our Chevrolet“ to break the covid monotony that now exists. Despite the weather, St. Michaels Maryland is a delightful small town. We made reservations at this bistro and were so very pleasantly surprised. It’s a...delightful little place on the main street. It really has the feel of of a “bistro“. It felt just like one of those little family run bistros in France. Janie, our server, was just wonderful as was the entire staff. We were very genuinely welcomed. The wines by the glass were very high-quality. The food was outstanding. Short ribs were the best I’ve had in many a month and the rockfish was delicious. The pastry tart for dessert was wonderful and yummy! We would highly recommend this to anyone at any time. I wish I lived closer!More

this is a popular place and I am so glad we had a reservation. Highly experienced staff. Gracious dining. The food was delicious ad some of it locally sourced. Oysters are very popular. We enjoyed the Rock fish and Steak frittes. We recommend

Food and service were top notch. My husband and I get out very little and when we do, it has to count. Staff was welcoming and available, without being intrusive and the food....Oh my! I actually only asked for a box so I could save...some for later. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!More

We sat at one of the two outdoor tables and had a wonderful evening. We ordered raw oysters which wasn’t on the menu and would have passed on those. Not a lot of flavor. The house salad with buttermilk was very good. My entree was...the pan seared Rockfish it was prepared perfectly and delicious. A 5 star meal. My wife rated the chicken as “alright” nothing special. We shared for desert a French pastry puff with caramel ice cream. The ice cream was great but the pastry was not as light and flakey as we’ve had at other restaurants. Service was very good.More

This was a fabulous experience! From the greeting when we arrived to the “have a great evening, thanks for dining with us”. Service was top notch, Sara was wonderful. Food was well presented and delicious. Hubby had the veal chop (special) and I had the...short ribs. Chef is genius….Both were prepared to perfection. Highly recommend as a spectacular place to dine!! If it weren’t three hours from home I’d make it a regular place to go, May just have to stay in St Michaels again soon.More

We had dinner last night. We both had the NY strip Steak with the absolute BEST french fries & sauce on the side. Yes, the fries were amazing! Never tasted anything like these. We needed our meal to be Gluten Free. They cook the fries...in a dedicated fryer. Maybe that's the secret? We even got Gluten Free bread and butter. They were very accommodating. The steak was cooked perfectly and served with a dollop of butter on top. Peter, our waiter was awesome. The restaurant is nicely decorated just like a Parisian Bistro. Definitely make a reservation, as the place isn't that large and fills up fast. They had (2) tables on the porch. But it's pretty noisy sitting outside and we were glad we opted to dine inside. Worth going back again when we return to St. Michaels in the Spring.More

It’s not that hard... weekends are super busy, but you can usually find parking on a side street. Summer’s over so you shouldn’t have a problem. Enjoy!
