This is the only Greek restaurant in the area that is the least bit upscale and has a larger menu than most of the others. Anyway we did takeout. The saganaki flamed cheese was cooler than it is supposed to be when we got home...(certainly not their fault, it sat before we got there and while we drove home) but tasted good room temperature. The lamb shank/orzo was nicely spiced and hot vegie platter good variety, plus they included a very large piece of bread we didn't expect. Anyway everything was pretty good, we'd definitely go again.More

A true hidden treasure in congressional mall. The best Greek food & ambience anyone can ask for on a lovely sunny day. We sat outside in the vine draped patio, surrounded by the warm sun & soft tunes of Greek music. Our waiter, Stephan, was...outstanding. His recommendations were spot on. The octopus was grilled to perfection, soft & succulent, not charred like most other restaurants. The taramasalata, which we yearned for, was simply delicious, served with delicious oil drizzled grilled pita. The Santorini fava is truly the one of the House specialties. The fish was perfectly seasoned & grilled with matching sides of potatoes & string beans. Stephan deboned it like a pro. The honey walnut cake & galatoborakia were the grand finale of a very memorable meal after a long hiatus. We will definitely be back. Thank you Mykonos staff for making us so welcome in your warm Mediterranean enclave.More

So glad to be back at our favorite restaurant, Mykonos. How lovely to sit outside, in the dappled sunshine, under the vine covered canopy, and eat wonderful Greek food, as only Mykonos can make it. Delicious. The staff and owner came and talked to us...to tell us about all the steps they are taking to guarantee our safety, so that we don’t have to worry. They are regularly checking the temperatures of their staff and delivery people, getting face masks for everyone, taking care not to touch items that we might also touch, the list goes on. Their care and knowledge was very evident. We really felt very safe. We really loved being back.More

I'd categorize the restaurant as sturdy. The food is nicely presented, well-cooked, and otherwise okay. The wine list is solid and our server, Jason, had some good recommendations, although he tended to be a bit on the brusque side of life. I kind of enjoyed...him. We got the caviar tarama, a salad, lamb chops, and a spread or two. The lamb chops, at $30, seemed too pricey for the quality. Too much tendon and not enough tender. Of course, they don't make the meat. Be that as it may, I was hoping for a lot more given a price tag of just under $100 for lunch, including one glass of wine,More

My wife and I both got the combo platter with chicken--quite excellent! We added a salad to one and shared that. The waiter recommended a nice wine, and the bread was great.

This place is nicer than you’d expect from the outside. It is good Greek food with nice service and table cloths, etc etc. I will say I noticed the staff talk down to some younger people for not eating enough - it came across a...they were upset the bill was small. That was disappointing, but the food was good - albeit pricey.More

Enjoyed a business meal for about a dozen executives earlier this week, accompanied by a regular patron. Service and personal attention was outstanding. Food was amazing, considering the group size. The seafood giouvetsi was solid. Olive oil, feta and olives reminded me of my time...on Crete. Everyone needed to pay individually, and this was handled with aplomb. Try the Lima Bean dish, its an flavor experience that alone makes the visit worthwhile. Appetizer, entree and a glass of wine with tip came in around $75, ouch. On the flip side, it is worth knowing there is a redeeming virtue to Rockville, the Mykonos Grill.More

Our favorite lamb dish at Mykonos is the shank on top of orzo. The meat melts in your mouth.
