Their salads are delicious. With freshly made dressing, my Shrimp Caesar was the best. My husband enjoyed his favorite - Chicken salad and fried Oyster salad with a choice of dressing. We are fortunate to live nearby and in the Fall, crowds are down.
It had been 8 years since we had been to Waterman's, but not much has changed. It still has the same great seafood, cooked just right, friendly service--thank you Lataya(sp)--and that same beautiful sunset. I am really hoping it is not another 8 years before...I make it back to Rock Hall.More
On a little mid-week getaway we drove to Rock Hall to dine. Shared the Cajun Boil which was delicious. The shrimp, crawfish and mussels were all cooked perfectly. The roux/sauce was flavorful and rich. Our server was friendly and efficient. Responsive to all our needs...and requests.
The breeze off the water was relaxing and refreshing.
Servers all wore masks and the tables were the right distance apart.More
Had heard a lot about Watermans and stopped by for dinner. Dined on crab cakes, steamed shrimp, rock fish tacos, and hush puppies - all of which were delicious. And we had a great, personable server. But of the restaurants we’ve patronized since Covid, Watermans...was the least responsive to its risks. Tables weren’t six feet apart (some weren’t even three). There was no disinfectant used to clean tables between diners, just a wipe with a wet rag. And menus were reused. We wish we could return to Watermans soon, but we help take care of our parents, who are high risk, and we need to focus on restaurants that are more careful.More
Steamed crabs were great. Mussels and Clams were great. Fries were great. Shrimp was edible. Soups sucked. The white crab soup was extremely bland and had the consistency of Elmers glue. Oysters on the half shell didn’t do much for me.
Great atmosphere. Slow server....Will be back for the crabs and beer.More
Returning for a weekend get away, always stop by for a seafood meal, covid has changed so many things. Restaurants taking big hits. They had no entertainment and hours suck. Had to eat early or they close. Got oysters on the 1\2 shell and broiled...rockfish , both were fresh and served promptly after ordering. The best was cold and the food was good, what could be better. It was a shame that our visit was cut short by covid. This visit redeemed them from a problem we had last year.More
Surprise visit to Rock Hall. This was our favorite place to eat for the weekend. We visited a couple of times. The first visit was awesome-our server, Anna, was superb. She made great recommendations and was accommodating when the storm took over the skies. She...was constantly engaging and making sure everything was good throughout the entire meal. We had the crab pot and it was amazing!! With dessert, other servers came out and sang Happy Birthday to my other half )completely unexpected). Great night (we didn’t even care about the storm that continued over a few hours). The 2nd visit was not quite the same. Didn’t have that same experience. The server was ok but not as engaging - didn’t even tell us the specials for the night. Food was good. Will definitely go back!More

We called a day ahead because we had a party of 14. We were there on a Friday night and the outside tables were full, inside was not. our tables were reserved outside and we were seated right away. We were seated at 3 tables of 6, having a couple of family join us to make 18. service was great, and they were happy to make reservations for us. Call ahead a day or two if you're picky about where you sit, or if you have a large party.
