My husband and I found this place by looking up sushi restaurants while we were out running errands. I first read reviews by others and didn't read anything alarming. When we arrived at the restaurant, I wasn't happy to see the restaurant was located in...a shopping Plaza but decided to give it a try anyway. I'm so glad we did! We ordered Asahi Rolls, Red Moon Rolls, and Salad Rolls. We loved all 3 choices. The rolls we tried were $10.95 each (8) pieces per order. The only downside for us is that this place is located an hour from where we live :-(. I would definitely recommend trying it.More

Most sushi rolls on this menu have a pretty thick crab stick in them, and they are all priced over $10. The crab sticks are stringy and they have an overwhelming "imperial" flavor. Great service! But the food was not tasty, and it certainly was...not worth $10/roll.More

You don't want to take chances with fresh fish, and this is a place I trust. I like the Tuna Roll and the Salmon Roll. Can't tell you about anything else here, I just get carry out sushi.

Very fresh food, low key staff in strip shopping center. Prices are great too. We have been a few times and ordered a salad roll, the Hollywood roll, Snow White, Spicy Tuna, Volcano (which is different than other places), Dragon Crab Stick (not all on...the same visit). All were delicious, plus they treat you to a free roll and free dessert-small pieces of cheesecake. We have tried many sushi places and feel this is the place for us. What a great sushi experience. Located in a run down strip center, Fuji Yama impresses as soon as you enter their doors. Sushi served on a bridge, with a free roll served up as a tasty treat. Fresh, tasty and innovative. My kids loved it...too.More

This place has awesome sushi. Every time we visit they always give us one roll to try, on the house, which is usually very tasty. The sushi is always fresh. I really like the shrimp teriyaki, shrimp tempura roll and salmon sashimi.

A friend recommended this place to us. I was a bit doubtful looking at the outside. Just appears to be a crummy little restaurant in a shopping center strip. As soon as we stepped inside we changed our minds. Very nice decor and atmosphere, plenty...of seating. The sushi was of a very high quality and reasonably priced. The rolls ranged in price from $4 to $12 on average. We ordered a variety and the check was under $35 for the two of us. They also have a good lunch special. Also this place is BYOB!!!!
