Founding Farmers on a Saturday morning was bustling. Fortunately, they take reservations. The beignets were greasy, but light, like a fried popover. The biscuits were crunchy and tasty. I do wish there was a more generous portion of honey butter and jams, but, oh well....More

Went there for a Thanksgiving dinner in the evening. Service was all over the place close to being catastrophic (I think the kitchen was a source of that problem as well, wrong orders, missing sides, late drink orders, late cutlery, long wait for coffee...). The...More

This restaurant...needs help. Service is sloooooow. Coffee is decent. Pancakes are amazing. But...the beignets took forever to come out. And...they were GREASY. I've had great beignets and made them from scratch at home. These were nearly inedible. Only the accompanying sauces kept me from sending...More

Description
MoCo's Founding Farmers is owned by the more than 40,000 family farmers of the NDFU. serving American inspired real food and drink with an emphasis and focus on scratch-cooking. While our restaurant is supplied by hundreds of family farms everywhere, that doesn't mean we know every farm, and that doesn't mean we never have to buy product from the traditional (corporate) supply chain. However, it does mean that we are working hard to direct our purchasing dollars where it aligns with our values. We're serving the best food we can, made from scratch in our kitchens every day. Our innovative, American dishes are made primarily with pure ingredients honoring the farmers and their hard-earned bounty.
