My mother and I keep coming back about 1x per month. I enjoy my gluten free mei fun noodle and other items. Owenership has changed, new menu items. Grubhub delivers. The food is cooked fresh to order. Sushi/Sashimi is fresh!

We went for an early dinner and it was not very busy. Soup, salad, sushi and mochi were all good. Nice place!

It was around 8 PM, we walked into the restaurant. Mind you, we are the only ones there. We order our food and every other place I have ever been to the Hibachi has been fried rice, egg, and vegetables. I asked the waitress "What...is the difference between the hibachi and the Japanese fried rice?" She said "They're two completely different meals." Never really giving me an explanation. I ordered the hibachi. It was not what I wanted so I kindly asked her to take it back and that I wanted the Japanese Fried Rice. Her response to that was to start yelling at me "No! That's what you order from the menu. You need to be careful what you order!" So I apologized and told her every restaurant I have ever been to, the hibachi is something else. After more arguing, she takes my food and replaces it. After eating, I asked for the check. She brings back the check with the Hibachi (priced $7 higher than the Japanese Fried Rice). I mentioned to her that I did not want the meal that was on the receipt and her response to that was "OK, but that is what you order. You say you don't want to Hibachi so I change it and the rice is on the house." I'm way more confused than I should be at this point but even I know that doesn't make any sense. She took the Hibachi back and wanted to charge me an additional $7 for a cheaper meal. She then starts yelling again about how I need to be careful what I order. Then she says "Well, I need to talk to my manager." She walked over to a secluded area (still visible to me) and started talking to herself. She then comes back over and says "The manager said fine, I will change it. I'm just the waitress , but you need to read what you order." I swear I cannot make this stuff up. I will never eat here again.More

Very enjoyable restaurant in a strip shopping center in Pikesville. Sushi is always fresh and we've had many rolls that we've enjoyed. Always greeted with a smile when we arrive.

We enjoy the sushi here. We always get carry out and the sushi is always fresh and delicious. The restaurant always seems empty so I hope they are doing OK, but maybe most people order carry out from them as we do.

Interesting combo rolls. Tasty. Nothing fancy but consistent. Been there over 20 times and never had a bad meal.

What's truly amazing about this restaurant is the owner! While I don't eat sushi often, this is the only place I go. The owner always remembers me and more importantly she remembers what I like. She really makes you feel special, even if you are...here once or twice a year. The lava roll and the angel roll are excellent. This will continue to be my sushi spot. Well done Sushi Sakura.More
