We really enjoy this place for lunch. My mum always orders the liver and onions and enjoys it immensely. I generally order the chopped sirloin dinner. This time I ordered a side salad as one of my sides and really enjoyed the salad with the...delicious Greek salad dressing. Our friend orders the Reuben sandwich and loved it!More

I can’t begin to tell you how disappointing and frustrating it was trying order carry out. We had to call 3 times before they would take our order. We made the first call at 3:30 PM, and I was told to call back later. My...husband called at 4:00 PM and was told to call at 5:00 PM for a 5:30 PM pick-up time. I really do not understand why they could not have taken our order on the first call. We have always called around 3:30 PM to place take-out orders for dinner time. Not sure what was wrong with the staff on this day. Our dinners were just okay. My liver and onions, which usually comes smothered in onions, barely had a 1/4 of onions for 2 slices. The Sour Beef and Dumplings and the Grilled Reuben sandwich were both good.More

Double the pleasure – my brother brought us take out from Valley View Inn. It was Sunday, so they were offering their Sour Beef and 2 Dumplings for $11.49. What a deal! We really enjoyed our dinners. Then, last night, my husband ordered take-out again...just for me. I was in the mood for Liver and Onions. It came with gravy, a salad and a baked potato. There were 4 slices of liver and it was cooked to perfection. I had enough for another meal. Valley View never disappoints – they have the best comfort food. Thank you.More

We sincerely appreciate the staff and chefs at the Valley View Inn for providing us with delicious take-out during this pandemic. Tonight, my husband was in the mood for their Sour Beef and Dumpling special. For the small price of $11.49, he had two huge...dumplings and 4 nice size pieces of beef. I thoroughly enjoyed the liver and onions with gravy for $11.99. The liver was perfectly cooked – the gravy loaded with flavor. I could only eat half of it; so, I have lunch for tomorrow. It came with 2 sides, and I chose their house garden mixed salad with their house dressing and beets. We both were totally comforted. Please, if you are ordering take-out or delivery during this time, don’t forget to tip. It is a great way to show your appreciation during this trying time.More

In an effort to support our local restaurants during the Coronavirus outbreak, we ordered take out for our Sunday dinner. Of course, we had Sour Beef and Dumplings with a side salad – always yummy. We placed our order over the phone, and when we...arrived for pick up, it was ready and waiting for us. We just want to remind everyone not to forget to leave a generous tip for the staff who are working so hard to provide food for all of us. We salute all of the staff at Valley View – thank you!More

Just as the Coronavirus was showing up in the US and knowing that we might have to stay in for a while, we decided to meet my brother and his wife for an early dinner at the Valley View Inn. It was Sunday, so it...was sour beef and dumplings special night. We all ordered the same thing – the sour beef with two dumplings and a garden salad with their house Greek vinaigrette. We all were in heaven – the sweet and tangy sauce on the sour beef was just perfect. The salads were fresh and crisp, and the dressing just took it over the top. Susan, our server, always makes you feel like part of the family. We even had dessert – they were so rich and decadent. We shared a slice of peanut butter pie, French chocolate silk pie, and a piece of chocolate cake. We left happy and satisfied.More

Great little neighborhood place. Food is good and reasonably priced. Staff is friendly. A place I don't mind going to solo and with friends as well.

My husband had a craving for sour beef and dumplings and, lucky for us, today is Sour Beef and Dumpling day at the Valley View Inn. They offer it every Thursday and Sunday as their special. The sour beef came with two dumplings. It was...seasoned perfectly. He could have one side with the sour beef, so he ordered a salad. The entree was such a generous portion that he took ½ home for dinner. I was delighted to see that they had Italian wedding soup as a special. It was thick and delicious. I also had a craving for liver and onions. They really know how to cook the liver just right. It came with two sides, and I enjoyed pickled beets and a side salad. I also have enough left over for dinner. We both really like their house dressing for their salads. Susan, our server, was terrific – so attentive and friendly. We highly recommend you check out the Valley View Inn – you will not be disappointed.More

My mum and I enjoy the meals here. She enjoys the chicken salad platter and I usually order one of the lunch specials or the chopped steak. There are dishes here you cannot get elsewhere. I generally order the daily vegetable with my meal because...they are usually pretty good.More
