really, really, REALLY GOOD FOOD

Asian Kitchen is my favorite local Chinese food restaurant. Really fresh, quality ingredients. They don't cut any corners with the ingredients. Best kept secret. A tad bit pricier but well worth every penny. They take the time to thoroughly clean the shrimp, a deal-breaker for me.

They offer great lunch and dinner specials. You get a lot of good food for a very reasonable price. One of the highest value lunch establishment. Their food is great.

Very Disappointing

Very disappointing! We ordered several dishes from them last night. They were provided hot and on time. We tried the Chicken Tom Yum soup, Green Chicken Curry, and a dish called Lemongrass Chicken. We have had Tom Yum many times before as well as Green Curry Chicken. From Asian Kitchen, they were not good. The soup was very watery and while it was piping hot and spicy, it was devoid of the classic tangy rich broth. Very disappointing! The green curry Chicken was missing the coconut milk, that tempers the spiciness of the curry. It was unedible as prepared (luckily we had some coconut milk at our house, so we will be able to fix it, instead of tossing it out, but beware, we will not be going back. It used to be nice, from what I remember in the past, but the shop is run down, and the area that used to be for sitdown, is roped off and looks like a broom closet. The Lemongrass Chicken was edible, but didn't have that fresh fragrance that one usually expects with a lemongrass meal.

All about the Kung Po'

Thats our go-to (extra spicy). Its a hole in the wall place, but arent those the best? ;) We've dined in a couple times as well and its usually not crowded so service is decent.

Horrible

The food was horrible. I ordered chicken and broccoli and shrimp fried rice. It was horrible. It had no flavor and didn't even smell like Chinese food. A waste of money. I will just give up looking for good Chinese restaurants here. I am used to the Chinese restaurants in NY. I'm done.

A good takeout in Owings mills

My husband and I were in the mood for Chinese food and decided to try this restaurant out. We ordered online and picked our food up. The staff are friendly and had our food ready when we came by. Overall we enjoyed the food and you get a lot for the price you pay. I thought it was fairly good overall and would recommend it if your looking for a good takeout restaurant.

Friendly, family-run restaurant. Good variety of items on the menu. Fast service. Well-prepared and consistent. Ordered from there over 100 times and never had a bad meal.

Small restaurant, friendly service, good food

Asian Kitchen is a small restaurant in a strip mall, with a friendly "family" feel. I was the only one in the dining area on a Tuesday evening, but the takeout line was busy. They have a large menu with different Asian cuisines. My chicken with vegetables was plentiful.

Always tasty, always accommodating

If you've been to Asian Kitchen once or twice, the next time you return the waitresses know your order. Though my group of has its quirks, Asian Kitchen staff is always accommodating and serves us to our exact specifications. Each time I go, I am amazed how quickly my order is prepared and served. The food always piping hot and tasty. Portions are plentiful and we always leave satisfied. The wait staff is always friendly and always appreciative of the patronage.

Good chinese food but no pork at all

Good food but if you like pork fried rice like me this is not your place. No pork items at all. Sorry, but chicken fried rice is not as tasteful!

Carry out lunch

We wanted a quick low-cal lunch while busy. We got a carry out large wonton soup, and ate it at home before embarking on our next chore. It was good, as usual for this restaurant. 6 large wontons in a flavorful broth.

Always Delicious

At Asian Kitchen the SERVICE is ALWAYS GREAT the FOOD is ALWAYS DELICIOUS and the wait is never long and it's all reasonably priced. So good even the comedian Lewis Black brings his parent's there to eat. Eat in or take out, I give the same review. If you haven't been there before, its worth the trip

They always get your order right!

I used to go to Asian Kitchen often since my office did not have a cafe. Once I started working at a building with an awesome cafe, my visits to Asian Kitchen became more infrequent. However, my husband LOVES it there so we decided to go on the rare occasion we could meet for lunch. I was SHOCKED when the waitress remembered my order from ages ago... especially since it was NOT a simple order... I always get moo goo gai pan with brown sauce (rather than white) and a spring roll rather than an egg roll with pork. The only issue with Asian Kitchen? WAY too much food. Make sure you get a box!
