Now will be Shottis Point but the food is as good or better. Some menu changes including bigger crab cakes 6 Oz. And soft shell club Sammie. Wish the would offer a one crab cake platter. 12 Oz of crab meat is very rich.

December 27,2022 For a place we love, is our go to exclusive spot in OC , and one we always recommend people to go, we were totally disappointed. We brought another family with us because we rave about Full Moon Saloon and it's food and...it was a disaster. It took 3 hours to get our food and finally eat. The restaurant was not pack out nor was there a wait for seating. We were repeatedly told that a new computer system was at fault We ordered soup and a selection of sandwiches from the menu. We had 3 young children with us that displayed excellent manners during our horrific wait time. I saw other people arriving after us getting their food, a party of 6, several parties of 2 and 4 within 30 minutes while we waited another 50 minutes. Our soups were not brought out for over a hour and were lukewarm. The food finally arrived and nothing was hot. One of the children's meal was the wrong order. The food was good as usual except for its temperature. The children had been so patient and very hungry we just ate. Nothing was comped on our bill. Just numerous apologies Something did not add up on this meal because others were getting their food in a timely manner that come on after us.More
We were in OC for 5 days and came here twice. We love Denise & Kim the bartenders. Happy Hour is 3-6pm everyday and the bar is usually crowded but in Oct you may get 2 seats at 5pm. We had the cheesebuger sliders &...1/2lb steamed shrimp one time and the Ahi Tuna App & softshell crab sandwich the 2nd time. All were delicious and chased them down with an ice cold beer. $1 off drafts at HH. The service is always great as well as the foods. The shrimps were large.More
We enjoyed our visit here very much. It doesn’t look like a lot when you pull up, but go inside and you’ll find friend folks, good food and a fun atmosphere. We highly recommend it!!
Went in on Sunday morning for breakfast. Restaurant fairly busy but not packed. Five of us. were met at the door and told they were short staffed and very busy. we told them we were in no hurry and said we would get a drink...at the bar and wait. The owner started yelling at me saying we would not let them do their job. i said what do you want us to do? He seemed to want us to stand in front of the door. Not sure why we stayed but we did. Wait staff was lovely Food was good. However! I have never in my life been treated so rudely by another human being as the owner treated us. Three of us are over 70 and definitely know that is no way to treat customers. He should be ashamed of himselfMore
10 of us came in for drinks a 5ish on Sunday. There is a list of specials that aren't that special nor are there that many options. Unless you sit at the bar you dont get the happy hour specials. There is a bar like...elevated very large long table next to the bar but don't quilfy 🤷♂️ . I think if i had 10 adults come in to my place in the afternoon I might be a little more welcoming. I doubt they'll miss me but it will be awhile before I return. When this group wants to go out next Sunday I will not be in favor of returning here. I doubt anyone in our group will be suggest it either.More
Went here for lunch on a Sunday. while we were looking at the menu and deciding what to get, I noticed the specials board by the door, which read specials of the day Hamburger soup, cheeseburger with fries...on an on. When the waitress came back,...I said I would have the cheeseburger special. She replied that the specials were only on weekdays. Why would you have a sign up that says "specials of the day" not "weekday specials". Anyway, I ordered the non special cheeseburger and it was very good. Came with a bunch of chips and a pickle. We also got steamed shrimp that was cooked perfectly.More
We went to this restaurant to meet friends, after having driven past it a number of times. What a surprise when we walked in to a beautiful restaurant. They have a good menu and good food. We will certainly return.
Went for the oysters offered Sunday's. Loved them, fresh shucked, meaty and succulent. Wife had Maryland crab soup which she said was some of the best.
It was a pleasant lunch at Full Moon. A dollar oyster was a good deal, delicious, good taste and fresh so two dozen was good. Fish and chips delicious and good portion. Shrimp salad sandwich also very good. Place was full so we were seated...at the bar. Great service from the woman at the bar.More
Great local crowd. Good food with large portions. It felt like coming home where everyone knows your name. I had the haddock which was excellent
On a prior visit, I was pretty blown away by this favorite of locals & those “in the know” - it’s not on a primary roadway, so you more or less have to look for it intentionally…but it is SO worth it. Comfort food done...right: perfectly portioned, perfectly seasoned, made with love. What’s more, the service both times was impeccable - they could train corporations on how hospitality should be done! Unfortunately, like many restaurants, they are short-staffed - which means you might have to wait a little longer for your meal…but it’s 1000% worth it, and all the more reason to give them your business. Whether you want fresh seafood or BBQ done right, they’ve got you covered…but be forewarned: you’ll want to save room for dessert because Tammy is a sorceress of confections! The peach bread pudding is legendary!More
This place used to be a favorite UNTIL last week! My friend had a long BLONDE hair in her tacos and the waitress rudely argued that it was my friend’s hair and it was not served like that. She insisted that none of the cooks...had long hair and that the color matched our friends’ hair. My friend has brown hair, BUT our waitress had blonde hair. Hmmm-could it be hers? An apology would have been the appropriate response. However, the waitress AND the owner alluded that this was “planted” by my friend. There were 5 of us ladies that are college educated, professional, and intelligent!!! We were flabbergasted at the level of rudeness. Oh yes, and the owner and his buddies at the bar were laughing at us during this verbal exchange. Never had anything close to this happen to any of us -EVER!!!! Never going back and will no longer recommend this restaurant!More
We went down to Assateague Island State Park the last week in September. Restaurants had already cut their hours or were closing for the season. Many were only open on Sat, Sun, and Monday. We were looking for a well reviewed one and finding nothing...cause they were closed. We went right past the Full Moon Saloon thinking it was just a bar. So glad we turned around and went back! No bar food here. My wife got the Clam Strip Platter. We have gotten Clam Strips from Maine to Flordia and these were the very best!!! They weren't clam strips - they were the whole clam, strips and bellies, just huge and so sweet! And the platter was covered!! I got the Aunt Lil's Classic Crab Cakes. They were huge and all lump crab meat, no fillers!! Two huge sweet crab cakes! Only once have I had better and that restaurant got blown away by Hurricane Isabel. The food was superb and the restaurant did not have a bar atmosphere at all. The service was excellent and every thing was very clean. My wife said that the ladies room was like walking into the rest room of a elegant fine restaurant!!! She could not believe that she was in the same building she had entered. It was beautiful and very clean! The owners can be very proud!!!More
We have been here 3 times the past 5 days. The softshell crabs are excellent and reasonably priced. We had the sandwich version with 2 crabs ($15) twice and the platter version with 3 crabs at early bird ($18). Both versions great sauteed or fried....The pork chops are also very good. The bar tenders are great (Sarah or Kim). Happy hour is 3-6pm but usually crowded at the bar. Early bird is 2-5pm with 5-6 choices for $17.99 with 2 sides.More
