We eat here every time we are in OC. Dinners are always good as is the happy hour. Half pound shrimp is reasonable as are discount drinks. There is usually live entertainment out on the deck bar. We have brought they whole family and it is appropriate for all ages. If you spend $12 in food you can buy an... More

Several weeks ago we stopped and had an appetizer and drinks during the day. Last night we decided since the first stop was good we would go back for a lite fare dinner. The flounder sandwich was ok. Don't waste your money on the onion things as a side. The Prime Rib sandwich/french dip as described was no where close.... More

Bryan was a fantastic server. I am sure he came back to our table 9 times. Our food was good. We went on the inexpensive dinner cruise. Erica was a wonderful hostess on the cruise.

Stopped by Angler for happy hour. Must admit we have not been there for several years. Very impressed with the "new" outdoor bar and deck. Apparently Super Storm Sandy wiped out the old deck. Happy hour was great with some excellent apps. Steamed clams and shrimp were plentiful and cheap! Also very good. We decided to order dinner and had... More

Great time...caught plenty of fish. Great Captain and crew. Weather cooperated which always makes for a good trip. Boat left and came back on time.

We always visit this restaurant for breakfast. The service is a little slow but once your food comes it is very good. Always sit outside, the views are excellent.

Ate there today. All of our food was pretty good and the waiter was terrific. However..my son went to use the restroom and he said it was horrible in there. He went and told them and they more or less rolled their eyes. As he turned to leave, he heard one of the folks saying "well, I am not cleaning... More

I've been going to the Angler for many years; working in OC during college, special occasions, and now as a family man married with three children. While all the food is good, stick with the seafood. It's fresh and exceptionally prepared. We've always experienced excellent service. We like the scallops and the crabcakes dishes - they are wonderful....but, I really... More

When the other popular breakfast spots get a little too crowded, the Angler is a safe bet. The setting on the inlet amid the fishing and tour boats adds to the enjoyment and a short stroll across the street is everyones favorite boardwalk. Food was good....but, come on, it was breakfast, not the Last Supper! Friendly service, too.
