We visited Buxy’s on a recent off-season trip to Ocean City. Our choice was mainly based on it being open, having carry-out, and being near our hotel. When got so far as to checking the menu, we were very amused to find that it was...billed as a Pittsburgh establishment, since home for us is an hour south of Pittsburgh. They actually serve “pop”! The food was delicious! My husband had a huge sandwich; I had a chicken sandwich, and we both had fries. The servings were generous, and the price was very reasonable. Absolutely no complaints. Even in high summer when everything is open, this should be your choice.More

We enjoyed the burger. I ordered the double and it was HUGE but tasty. You could tell that they had made it fresh and grilled it when you ordered. Cool apparel for sale too.

This place is really good. The food, atmosphere, surroundings - all great. Had the Geno sandwich for lunch and loved it so much that we went back for dinner. The drinks were great too! Had a banana daiquiri. Highly recommend!

Buxy's Salty Dog has come through quarantine bigger and better. They have done a beautiful upgrade to their patio with new, larger tables, flowers and planters that give you a garden feeling. Amanda our waitress was incredibly warm and friendly. She was very attentive to...all our needs! We went there specifically for the Pirogi and were not disappointed. They were delicious. We can't wait to go back and try other entrees that also looked great!More

We are condo owners in OC. Our trips are mostly off-season, so we have looked for bars to watch football games over the past few years. So far, all choices have been underwhelming. We watched the playoffs here last week and were very pleasantly surprised....Cheesesteaks were great and and we also enjoyed the atmosphere. We will definitely be returning in the future. Looking forward to it!More

Ambience is good, the beers and orange crushes are awesome. Food was OK, my husband got the Polish platter and I got the cheesesteak egg rolls. We went to watch the Eagles game, they played the Redskins. The bartender was a Redskins fan. The Eagles...scored with 0 seconds left in the 4th quarter and won the game. Right after that the bartender changed the channel because he was mad about the game result. I told him that I was not done watching and he refused to change the channel back. There are a lot of bars that we can go to to watch the game, and if this is the way that the Salty Dog treats their customers, then I will spend my money somewhere else.More

Great time at salty dog watching PSU football and having lunch and drinks. Our server was excellent the beer was cold and food was very good. Food service was quick and the atmosphere for watching a game was fantastic. I had four large screen TVs...in direct view and there are numerous others throughout the bar and dining area. I had a different type of sandwich which you don’t see a kilbosi and pierogi which was great. We also had a delicious crab dip. Make this a must stop when on OCMore

Though I haven't watched a Steeler game in several years, we figured, what the heck, Steeler's Bar called Buxys can be all bad...and it didn't disappoint. We didn't have food - but a few brews (no, not Iron City)...but a friendly, welcoming place. Even got...to chat with Buxy for a few minutes. We'll be back for a meal - for sure. Great server too - he tolerated our drink-only evening plans!More

No one in our party had tried this place before. We were given a $10 off from our hotel so we decided to try it on a Sunday evening. Food was wonderful. My husband and I shared the chesapeake chicken and pierogies. Was more than...enough for us to feel full. Service was excellent too. Only thing that would potential cause someone an issue is the noise level can get loud. There are tv screens all over playing an array of football games. Some patrons were there to drink and cheer on their team. If you don't mind the noise or if you go on a non football day, this is worth the try.More
