Really wasn’t as bad as some have said. We went early and everything was still hot and fresh. It was clean and well lit.

There is a plenty of variety on offer but nothing is great. The only fresh seafood was the shrimp. They salad bar was good, but no tomatoes. The service was quite good. The price was a bit high. We spent about $100 with tip for...six people (four adults, two kids) to eat. It's located right on the boardwalk in the basement of the Plim Plaza hotel. We were staying at the hotel so it was very convenient to just go eat here.More

Have been eyeing this place for awhile and finally decided to try it. How disappointing! It’s old and run down, very humid inside and the carpet is filthy. The food, ugh...While there are many choices, most of the food is loaded with salt and The...cooks are very heavy handed with pepper. The carved turkey and the seafood bisque soup were the only highlight of my meal. The desserts aren’t anything special. I didn’t appreciate the waitstaff telling me to leave his tip on the table when he gave us our check. Would not go back!More

Although disappointed that the complimentary parking seemed to be a thing of the past, our meals were good. Coming here for 20 years, you know what to expect. We had a reasonably priced good meal.

When I was younger this used to be my favorite place to eat and try new foods for a great price. My friend and I just recently came back to Ocean City after several years. What a disappointment. First, the smell, the smell was faint...when we first went in, smelled a little mildew-ish. Later when I went to the restroom the trail back to the restroom, I almost vomited, the smell of mold was overpowering. The restroom itself smelled like sewage had backed up and need to be cleaned. Next the food. First the selection was decent but still not what it used to be. But everything had a rubbery taste and was very blah. We got there when they first opened so everything should have been very fresh. It was not. We ended up not eating hardly anything except for desert which was the only thing that was good. As we were sitting at our table we noticed that some of the wooden posts had water damage. I am wondering if it flooded and has not been properly taken care of? Sadly we ended up going elsewhere to eat and will not be returning here.More

I've always liked Paul Revere and have kind of chuckled at people putting it down because they were expecting a 4 diamond restaurant for a 2 diamond price. Actually, in a review many years ago, I mentioned Paul Revere comparing favorably to The Bonfire's buffet...for about half the price. And remember, you are paying for some very expensive real estate. I was seated right away and my waiter was very good and nice. I had a small amount of pork, ham, and beef, all good. I noticed in the meat section that there were many kid favorites: burgers, hot dogs, pizza, and tacos - and the kid prices are good. The mashed potatoes were not as hot as they could have been. But it was good tasting, home cooked type food. Not so good that if it were a truck stop it would be full of truckers - but still good. I had garden fresh tomatoes from the salad bar - never see that in a restaurant and they were excellent. I also enjoyed my hot peach cobbler with frozen custard on top. The other thing I really like about this place (aside from it being close walking distance to my hotel) is that being a buffet, you can get in and out quickly. I don't come to Ocean City to sit in a restaurant all evening. I wondered why it's not rated more highly and noticed that the bad reviews (save 1) seem to be all from previous years. And like anyplace, it can depend on when you go and what you like or choose to eat. My experience was just fine.More

I can't figure why there are over 131 negative reviews for this place? It has been 6 years since our last visit and I found that the quality and quantity of food has remained the same. Excellent! Maybe the negative reviews are from people who...aren't the smorgasbord type. The food was tasty with a large selection. A big pasta and pizza station, along with a carving station of roast beef and ham. Turkey is also available. There is plenty of selection of fruits and vegetables as well. Along with a good sized seafood selection. I highly recommend you overlook the negative reviews and stick with this 3 time reviewed reviewer. Paul Revere's is an excellent choice for an evening meal. As a tip get there early as sometimes the wait can be long. Can be a bad place if you have to wait to get in... While on the Boardwalk stop in. You will NOT be disappointedMore

Food was ok, mostly cafeteria type. Staff is hit or miss. Deserts are good. Good for families that don't want to break the bank on a single meal. Worth a try...

I wouldn’t pay more than $10. When you walk in you smell Old Bay, that’s cool it’s the beach! You walk a few steps and the whole place smells like a flooded basement and it gets worse the farther in you go. By the time...I got the bathroom I was holding my nose. The server we had was very slow to get us drinks and just to serve us in general. We tried a few different sodas and they all tasted flat. The one side of the buffet that has the pastas were all dried up and crusty and the red sauce tasted sour. The Alfredo was surprisingly good though. The turkey, gravy and mashed potatoes were ok when they brought the fresh out. The boneless wings were mushy like they weren’t fried. The burgers were almost black. The buns were all sitting out and hard. The meats they carve for you were just ok. Very very dry. The slices they give you were what I would give my 4yr old. I’m not even a meat fan and I wanted more than one piece. The scalloped potatoes were ok. The best part of the place is the desserts. They need a whole new staff except for the dessert people. The cobbler was really good, brownie and banana cream pie. My 4yr old liked the corn on the cob and meatballs. If you are familiar with the restaurant Golden Corral this makes that look like a 5 star restaurant. We had a group for 14 with 4 kids 4 and under and they tried to get us to pay for 2 of them so we had to correct them on that.More

Not sure was there at 7pm, not sure if they do a early bird. I don't suggest that anyone eat there.
