We just went to Tequila Mockingbird in Ocean City Maryland. Very disappointed. I can’t think of one good thing. The place was dirty. Bathroom and kitchen was disgusting. Service was very slow. Food was cold and bland. For being known for their margaritas … yuck! And...I love a margarita but not there! Even charged us extra on our bill because we didn’t pay in cash. Prices also very high for what you get, food was about what you get at Taco Bell but Taco Bell is better. Again don’t waste your time amigos !More

Salsa and chips were all that was good. My enchiladas I think were made with meatloaf. Will never return.

Hostess did not even greet us. She threw the menu on the table and walked away. Thew waitress was not friendly either. The food was horrible! Black bean soup no cheese or chorizo in it. Not a soup at all. Thick as the refried beans...gross. Hot in some spots ice cold in other spots. Braised beef taco very dry and nasty. Fish tacos gross and cold. Salsa and chips were not so hot either. Salsa had no flavor. They call this a Mexican restaurant. There are no good Mexican restaurants in Ocean City Md. Maybe all of Md. Very expensive too for four people around 150.00 do not go there. Save your money. Went on 04/8/22.More

We found this place on a last minute whim. What a great surprise. The staff was amazing making you feel like you were at your neighborhood bar / restaurant. We enjoyed it so much we went back everyday of our stay. Jen, Lisa and Meghan...made you feel right at home. I am looking forward to returning on our next trip.More

Wow what a surprise. We were looking for a new restaurant with a different menu from the other beach, bar places and we found it. We started with margaritas to go with the complementary nachos and salsa. Then it was the meals, chicken enchiladas and...steak fajitas. Huge portions and very good. Our waitress Bella was very attentive and helpful with suggestions. We will be back.More

First & last time coming to this restaurant.  We went on a Sunday around 5:30 & there was no wait... the only plus.  There were 4 of us. -Queso & chips app - extremely salty -Guac & chips app - bland, everything we got needed...salt... not sure they season anything!  I think it might have been pre-made guac... not fresh. -Atlantis burrito (x3) bland, needed salt, barely any crabmeat, huge chunks of peppers, cilantro rice was overcooked & mushy & the refried beans were dry & tasted burnt. -Hard shell chicken tacos were ok, nothing to write home about. -Spicy margaritas (x4) premade mix, to sweet & minimal ice so they were warm. Plus you only get 1 complimentary bowl of pico/salsa & 1 basket of chip, any refills you have to pay for... I've never been to Mexican restaurants that does that. Bill was $170 before tip... nope, never again!More

We have been patronizing this restaurant for years and our last experience was the worst yet. As another reviewer said, the salsa is good but that was about it. The food and the service were very sub-par. I feel the food was very overpriced for...the quality - We ordered a salad with blackened tuna and received a salad with very bland, unseasoned and DEFINITELY not blackened tuna for $28. Another one of our party ordered the Mango Tuna Tacos - again asked for blackened - and received tuna which was again unseasoned, not blackened with no mango in sight. When asked about whether the tuna was blackened our waitress assured us it was - maybe she didn't know what blackened meant... Fajitas were unseasoned, cold, steak overcooked and the veggies not cooked at all. Our $11 bowl of queso had a skim on the top when it was delivered to the table. Our server was cordial but very forgetful and made excuses for everything. We had to ask for salsa twice before it was brought out to us. Overall a very disappointing experience. We usually love this place and have had delicious food in the past - including the blackened tuna tacos. Maybe it was just a bad night... Hoping the next time will be better.More

This place was packed when we went. The fresh chips and salsa were bomb with just the right amount of heat from the jalapeño. However, the rest of the food was just meh and Taco Bell would have had more flavor. I ordered the pork...tacos and while the pork had some flavor like burnt ends from a bbq place, otherwise the food was rather bland and lacking in flavor. I was honestly disappointed. If you order the chicken taco for a child I would ask to have the chicken cut up smaller and it was in rather large chunks that are even bigger than what you would see in something like stir fry. Staff was very friendly though.More

We’ve been here several times. We’ve ordered just about everything off the Menu. Portions are huge IMO! Great food! Due to COVID weve only done carry out. Also have had their house margaritas (carry out too) -all great! Highly recommend!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! A burrito is 20-27 dollars!!!! The food is very bland. Shame on them for even trying to act like a Mexican restaurant. The salsa is awful. I would rather eat at Taco Belly ache. The service was poor. Waitress...forgot my friends drinks. Never came back to check on us. She was slow. A groups of ppl that seem to be locals and m ew everyone came in and were so loud that I got up and walked out. This is one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. Food and service are trash. Save yourself!More

Wings were just awful. The “blue agave sriracha” sauce was teriyaki sauce with some red flakes just horrible cheap food lion Asian aisle flavor that is thin like water, definitely not Mexican. I wouldn’t order pizza at a sushi place so this sauce shouldn’t even...be here. It was somehow also staggeringly sweet. The quesadilla had none of the sides you get when you dine in I just got sour cream. Horrible over priced lack of actual authentic flavor pretentious naming of dishes. Awful awful. I’m local and will NEVER be back.More

Went in and had dinner and the rice and refried beans tasted like they were a week old. The salsa and chips was the only part of the meal that tasted ok. The chicken in my dish was not cooked to order, it was dry...and chewy. Definitely will not be going back to this establishment.More

The safety protocols were followed, so after a 10 minute wait we got our table. Lauren was a fantastic server! The queso was fantastic! The golden margarita was delicious and very strong. The short rib tacos were amazing, but the rice and beans were not...to my liking. Overall, the service and food were very good!More
