I was there this past weekend about 3pm with a large group. It was not crowded. We were able to get a group of tables right away. However, it took forever to get our drink orders. When we asked the waiter to take our appetizer...order at the same time (because it took so long) he said he couldn't until after he took our drink orders. Then it took forever to get our drinks - some of which he messed up - no beer served, the coffee was served with a bowl of individual butter cups (?) instead of individual creamers. The wine we ordered was served in an unwashed wine glass - lipstick still on it. Then the waiter finally came over to take our meal order (never asked about the appetizers we had wanted to order), but before he actually got our order he walked away to give another table their bill. He then came back for our order but left again to take the order of another table - a group who came in after us. Finally, a member of our group complained to a staff member and that person told the manager - but instead of doing something about it they still left us hanging. We eventually left without ordering but two more comments - they had no crab products. So no crab pretzels, no crab balls, nothing with crab meat. How can a place in OC have no crab meat? Also, the soda's we ordered were served in small cups - like paper coffee cups. When you charge so much for a soda I expect more than 12 ounces of soda. Finally, we were told the waiter was new - and that is fine and we could have worked with him but the attitude of the management when they saw he was struggling and then when we complained was to do nothing. This was not a problem with the waiter, this was a management problem. If he was new then he never should have been given our party by himself when it was so empty and then when we complained the manager should have done something. Terrible. We ended up going to the Dough Roller and spent a couple of hundred of dollars between the drinks and food.More
