I am very picky and critical about my Mexican food after being raised in Southern Arizona, so I didn't expect to come to Ocean City and find an authentic Baja/Sonoran style Mexican meal. The combination plate with a cheese enchilada was terrific. The corn tortilla held together better than any other enchilada I've had out East. The shredded beef taco... More

only a couple of tables, mostly to-go orders. Generous portions, though lack a bit of flavor, but friendly service.

Squeezed in between a pizzeria and a DD is a nice mexi-cali food place with good prices but better food fare. The titled "Abuelita" (spanish for granny or grammy) was not about that day but I think abuelito (figure it out yourselves!) was. A great cook and excellent person . Try anything. You won't be disappointed. Credit cards and cash... More

During the past two years this was a good hole on the wall Mexican carry out. Carne asada was my favorite, nicely done, good flavor, that was until today. We went for a good carne asada and rushed to our hotel for what we thought a good lunch! It was NOT! The beef had no flavor, tasted old, and of... More

Having stayed across the street 82nd last year I saw La Abuelita and was intrigued but ended up going to Fat Daddy's instead (another review coming). But one of my friends tried La Abuelita and was surprised at how good it was so I decided to try it. The food was excellent, I had the Carnitas platter and each part... More

This is not a sit down dinner but a little place with snack trays if you'd like to eat there. Your food is prepared when ordered and my friend from California said it was authentic. The prices are reasonable and I got enough food for two meals. Lots of cheese in the quesaedilla.

This sis mostly a take out restaurant with only a couple of indoor and outdoor tables for sit in. The cook was a kind very pleasant grandpa type man by himself but handled our six dinners very efficiently in less than 10 min for take out. All the dinners were delicious with good size portions. Good price. less than $10... More

Ordered four dinners including burritos and tacos and the food was not good. Definitely not authentic Mexican; salad tasted as though it came from a bag and the rest from cans. Sauce tasted like ketchup. This is the kind of place that survives because it is in a beach town with limited choices during the dinner crunch if you don't... More
