Micky Fins Bar & Grill serves fine casual fare overlooking the beautiful marina at the Ocean City Fishing Center in West Ocean City, Maryland. Locals' favorites include the lobster tacos, crab dip, tuna tower, and our freshly ground short-rib brisket burgers. Our specialties include Chilean sea bass, Nashville hots chicken wings, dayboat scallops, and our jumbo lump crab cakes. We have the best burger in Ocean City.

Great view, decent food

The location is great, right along the harbor on the water. Fisherman were having their catches cleaned on the dock right next to the tables (this may be a deterrent for some but we thought it was interesting). Our server was pleasant. We ordered the mahi fingers (delicious) and crab soup, which was good but had a peppery bite I wasn't expecting. The other dishes on the table included the crab dip, burrata salad (both were great) and the salmon and shrimp bucatini (seafood was good but sauce was bland and would have preferred a different pasta). Overall a good experience and would recommend.

Good food

We've had lunch and dinner here in the last two visits. Each time the food was very good but the service was subpar. Last night we ate here during the White Marlin Open. The service was awful. Our server came to our table to make sure we were "okay" and I had to tell her we hadn't even ordered our food ... despite the fact that our menus were laying on the table in front of us. After our meal was served, she came back once to check in. Very disappointed in the service.

Dinner with a view

Vacationing in Ocean City, MD. Searched out a family owned restaurant just on the bay as we try to stay away from the chains when vacationing. Busy season so reservation made for outdoor seating. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t agree with our dinning preference but this wasn’t an issue as accommodations were made by the staff for indoor dinning. Greeted with a smile from the hostess and seated in a timely manner. Restaurant and bar impeccably clean. Pleasant themed atmosphere. Waitress was very nice and informative. Many specials offered this evening. Drinks, entrees and deserts enjoyed by all. Fresh seafood (I had the swordfish) and steaks with many other selections available. Owner was discussing the vendors he uses in order to ensure freshness. Enjoyed my dinner and overlooking the marina from our indoor table. Reservation to return later in the week. Hoping the weather is better for outdoor dinning.

Poor management, Unaccomodating, Does not meet expectations, Too expensive

We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant we have visited yearly. We will not be back again. A reservation was made 3 days in advance with very specific instructions on where we wanted to be seated. We preferred 2 of their seating options over the third. We ended up being seated in the one location we asked to not be seated and to make matters worse they would not let our party of 10 (which we had made a reservation for!) sit together. We had to split up between two tables. We were told three different stories between the hostess and the manager about why our group couldn't be seated together. Ridiculous really. Not a good dining experience at all. When you go out with a group to celebrate, especially to a high dollar establishment, a restaurant should be accommodating. If they cannot accommodate your reservation, they should let you know at the time of booking. It's a very simple concept. The food, which is normally very good, was subpar tonight. The manager was not friendly or understanding about the situation at all. Used to be a nice place, but not anymore.

Great wait staff. Great view. No food

I normally don’t write a review if I’m saying anything negative. I will start with that I eat out almost every night. We had 12 guys that just finished golfing and made a reservation ahead so we could get a table. We showed up 10 minutes early and went to the bar till our table was ready. The staff and server and bartender couldn’t have been nicer. We were seated at 7:15 and were greeted promptly by our servers who took our drink order and then our food order by 7:30. Then the wait began one hour and fifteen minutes later we had to leave because no food had arrived yet and no answer when we would get it. We paid our drink bill and left. I feel sorry for the waiter who lost out on a $300 tip because the kitchen couldn’t get any food out. Any sit down restaurant that’s short staffed should never ever sit customers knowing that they will wait hours for any food. The owner needs to retrain the upper management before they piss off any more customers. By the way they were still sitting more tables when we left.

4 people at a tiny table

We had a dinner reservation for 4 @ 7:30.We arrived on time an were taken to a high top table that was the size of a large barstool. The table was so small there would never have been room for 4 plates, water and drink glasses, not to mention any appetizer plates. I wish I had taken a picture. We asked to move to a larger table. At first we were ignored. When we got another person's attention we were told were could have a table outside. We specifically made the reservation inside. At that point we said no thank you and left to go to another restaurant. I hope they get their seating together as this was totally unacceptable.

Loved Micky Finns

I haven’t been to Micky Finns in several and was totally impressed with the completely renovated 2nd floor restaurant and bar area and outside deck seating. The view is spectacular. I want to bring my friends back for lunch. We had a great, experienced server named Dawn who was so attentive even during the evening rush. She refilled our ice teas 4 times during our dinner and was kind and efficient. We got crab dip with fresh bread, some vegetables and jerk shrimp tacos. Everything was delicious.

Great Friday night dinner and drinks

Great dinner with friends. We are part timers in Berlin and were hosting friends. We always enjoy Micky Finn’s so decided to eat there - first time this season We ate upstairs which was busy with a party - but we were not ignored - service was great We had drinks, chicken nachos, pear and eat shrimp and we all decided and salads and a second round of drinks. Great Friday night dinner

Try lunch not dinner

This is a lovely place to go for an outdoor lunch on the water but I won’t recommend for dinner especially indoors. We have eaten lunch several times and sat outside always enjoyed the lunch menu. Inside is way too noisy. We could barely hear each other sitting next to one another. We ordered two meals and a salad. The salad came with the dinner instead of before. The $68 filet was supposed to be medium but was medium well. It had the texture of a much tougher meat and all I could taste was the charcoal cooking no real seasoning. Husband ordered the cake cake dinner and it was good but the side dish of potatoes and asparagus was so bland. Lastly the parking was crazy. We had to park in the park and ride lot . It took us 7 minutes to walk across the lot to get to the restaurant. Just too many negatives to make us want to come back in the dinner hours.

Good but a few issues

I’m going to be generous. I think this restaurant may be suffering from off season disease. Fish portion was generous. Copious amounts of food under our table from previous guests. Sandwich very tasty. Chips were out of date 3 months. No apology. Kitchen needs training on how to wrap food. Beautiful setting. No parking this time of year. Croutons in Caesar salad were gross.

Spent a week in Ocean City, went to Mickey Fins our last evening. I had the Baked Wahoo. The meal was excellent, our waitress, I believe her name was Tierini was pleasant and attentive without being overbearing. After dinner we went to the bar downstairs where I had the revolver drink. The drink was good and Cate, the bartender was amazing. Will definitely go again.

Great service, great views and even better drinks!!!

My wife and I heard that the new rooftop bar was open for business. We made it a point to stop in with friends for drinks and an appetizer. We were warmly greeted by the upstairs staff telling us that we could choose our seat. We picked the corner table with what we think is the best view in the house! My wife tried the cosmopolitan....and I had the Old Fashioned and a Dirty Martini as my second drink. In short the drinks are amazing and unique in their own way. The service couldn't have been better. Make it a point to visit.

WOW! This is a must visit. Everything from the welcoming smile of the Hostess to the prompt and friendly service from Meghan to the incredible food in a beautiful setting was top notch. We will be back !
