We stayed next door at the Marigot Beach Suites, but they use the Clarion amenities. Although short-staffed, they did a great job and were pleasant. Their food and drinks were delicious. Definitely worth a try. Reasonable prices for the location.
Basic hotel breakfast, nothing super fancy but good. I had lox and bagels and they gave me a lot which was great! Staff was friendly and fast.
The worst crab cake I have ever had! The cream of crab was extremely salty. Even the salad was blah. Something is off with most of the staff, they are unprofessional and dress like they are at a BBQ just a weird vibe. Our serve...was very nice and professional.More
We ate our dinner, then breakfast and lunch at the Horizons. Dinner was way more than we expected and had to take most of it back to our room. Portion sizes were huge! Our waitress was top notch and the food was done to perfection....We ordered our breakfast and lunch to be picked up and eaten on our ocean view balcony. Again very good and the portion sizes more than enough! We will be eating here again!More
Our family of 4 had dinner at Horizons on August 26, 2021. Our bill was $160 and the food was the worst we ever had at a restaurant. The shrimp was like eating a rubber tire. The pasta was drenched in oil and butter. We...are terribly disappointed. We wouldn't even give this restaurant one star if we didn't have to. Run, don't walk away, from this garbage.More
Absolutely horrible. Restaurant was short of staff and you could feel the waitstaff frustration. Food was so bad the kids didn't finish anything. Burgers, steak and crab legs were dry dry dry. When we spoke with the watier he apologized but pointed out he didn't...cook the food. For the price they charge you would expect more. I understand short of staff but still a horrible experience. Thank goodness for the amazing live band.More
We went for dinner recently and had to wait 30 minutes for a table despite plenty of tables available. I asked if it was because of staffing issues and was told yes. When we did get a table it took awhile to get a server...who told us it was her first day on the job. I didn't get her name. We finally ordered and it took over a half hour to get our food which was just so-so, nothing spectacular. I felt bad for the waitress as she seemed like she wanted to do well but was probably poorly trained. Considering the expense of the meal and issues with staffing I doubt if I will return even though I'm a guest at the hotel. This visit only gets 2-stars as the service doesn't warrant 3-stars. On a side note, the music was so loud it was difficult to have a conversation. Disco music and a spiral lighted dance floor doesn't lend to a quiet, peaceful dining experience.More
Breakfast was excellent my first restaurant experince during pandemic. Customers seated about three table lengths apart. Service was excellent.
food was ok , waters are bad they kept whispering to each other other than foccusing on thier job I dont know if some of them new or learning or something happen
We usually do at least one seafood buffet while in OC, but due to Covid, we decided to do a sit down dinner instead. I saw an ad in the local paper that Horizon’s had reasonably priced crab legs, which all my children enjoy. My...youngest girls shared the two pounds of legs, while I tried the house special of grilled salmon. My older girls split a crab cake sandwich and an order of the seafood Alfredo. Everything was delicious and hot. The view was lovely and social distancing was in effect with partial seating and masks when not at the table. Our server Olivia was great, and the prices were extremely decent. We’ll visit again.More

Enjoyed breakfast while overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Service was prompt and food was hot. Omelet came and included tea or coffee.
I had breakfast every morning during g my week stay. The service was excellent. My server Kelly, was friendly. She remembered my order after my first visit, and anticipated my needs every morning afterwards. The entire staff was cordial and professional. Geoff, the morning chef,...made sure the offerings for breakfast buffet were hot and appealing. Steve, the chef at the evening service was also on point with the presentation and temperatures for the evening buffet. It was a pleasure to see vegetarian selections offered. Service at night was exceptional. A professional staff and artful kitchen is the winning combination for the acclaimed Horizons Oceanfront Restaurant. My compliments to Phil, who oversees the food & beverage program, and to Gabriel, who manages the restaurant. Their presence in the dining room is acknowledged by the quality of the service offered.More
My husband and i had Christmas Eve dinner here. It was outstanding! He ordered the Fillet and i had the stuffed fish with crab imperial. My husband is extremely picky about steak and he said it was one of the best steaks he has ever...had in any steak house. My fish was also excellent. We enjoyed the ocean front view while we dined. They do a good breakfast here, so I was a bit surprised at the quality of the dinner service. The entrées themselves (I had the crab cakes, he had the fish) were good, but the sides were not. And there are really no choices there....You get a potato - baked or mashed - and the vegetable. My baked potato was hard and gummy, like it was yesterday's potato, reheated. He had to doctor his mashed potatoes up with butter, salt, and pepper. The vegetable was sooo far gone. Squash can be mushy anyway, but this was way beyond that. I couldn't believe someone thought it was OK to put that on a plate and serve it.More
