Built in the days of Lincoln and restored recently, this previously "cottage & speakeasy" is situated in tree shaded area with indoor/outdoor dining. Smart casual, with fine dining. The food was very good but not inexpensive. The Cherry Garcia Cheese Cake is the best I have had. Nice for a couples outing.

We vacation near Oakland every few years and we always go to the Cornish Manor at least one night for a "fancy" meal. They don't disappoint. The food is fab. Seafood & steaks, pasta.......all delicious. Their prices are cheap but they do deliver!

I'm a history buff -- and Cornish Manor is nothing if not historic. This "cottage" dates from the 1860s and features wood paneled ceilings and a wrap-around porch that surrounds at least 2/3 of the home. The furniture, rugs, and decor appear to be antique as well. But where one diner sees "period decor," another may see "stuffy." We were... More

Our favorite place to enjoy the food, service, and atmosphere! We are never disappointed with our meal! The specials are fascinating. The portions are large and well prepared! A great place for mature adults to celebrate the setting!

Losuy food. Staff was rude and unaccomodating. Asked them to heat the butter. They did not. Spilled ketchup on someone's pants. They did not apologize and never came back. Asked for tartar sauce. They did not bring any. Asked for a fork. Never brought it. Then they had the nerve to charge us a service charge for their lack of... More

Our meals were delicious! I recommend the scallops for appetizer and the shrimp and scallops for entree! Fabulous!

We had a really good meal here our last night in the area. The prime rib was excellent as were the crab cakes. The restaurant is in an old house which in itself is interesting. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Service was attentive but not special. We would go back.

My wife and I were in Oakland for the night and decided to not drive very far to a restaurant, so we picked the Cornish Manor. I ordered the Prime Rib and my wife the Catch of the Day. Neither of us thoroughly enjoyed our entrees. My suggestion: Drive a bit farther to were more restaurant choices are. Seriously!

In an old country home, quaint decor, seperate rooms and lavish party room upstairs, an outside deck to enjoy the wilderness deep creek has to offer, and I can't say enough good stuff about the seafood (and I'm quite picky). A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for!!!!!

My husband took me here for valentines Day. We didn't have a reservation but they graciously seated us with no issues. Dinner menu mainly consists of seafood and steak dishes. It's a little pricey but was absolutely delicious.
