Pier 1 is only minutes from our home in North East, MD and sometimes you take local places for granted. We always get a value priced good meal, but tonight was A GRAND SLAM entree with the special of fresh rockfish in a creamy crab sauce. Unbelievable in richness, quality & taste! My partner had the liver & onions which... More

My mom and I were so excited to eat here but....she has eaten here before and had good meals. I ordered the sauted scallops thinking they would be sauted/ seared in butter but they came out swimming in butter and maybe a bit of sherry? and quite rubbery/ over cooked. They may have been frozen, but I forgot to ask.... More

Stopped in for breakfast and it was really good. Prices were reasonable and French toast was really good. Service was good and restaurant was clean.

I was surprised when I ate at Pier 1 as I thought it would be more upscale or what u think of at least when u think of a seafood restaurant. The food was pretty good, not the best as everything is cooked greasy spoon style... SMOTHERED in oil &/or butter. I had a combo meal that had a crabcake,... More

Great fro breakfast. Locals love it so you know it's got to be good. Good location. Fair prices. Great desserts.

I have had shrimp pasta platters here a couple of times. The salad that it comes with is good. The bread is good. People are friendly. It usually isn't crowded like Woodys. It is not as famous as Woodys but it is always my choice stop.

If you are in Northeast, MD and looking for a meal, as opposed to a dining "experience", this is for you. Located at the entrance to the town, Pier 1 does not have an significant restaurant appearance, but it is really closer to being a diner. My wife and I ate here last year, and we were favorably impressed with... More

This place has that diner-like look - which usually means good food at a good price. And that is exactly what you get. Not great food, but good, and hearty. We started with Maryland crab soup... which was heavy on tomato, but went down quite nicely [and quickly]. Then, crab stuffed mushrooms - quickly devoured - though the mushrooms needed... More

Pier 1 is a "locals' favorite" restaurant and has been for years. That's because the food is totally reliable, the service is totally friendly and the prices are right.

Wow ! One goes to Maryland's Chesapeake Region to enjoy crab, or at least dabble in crab cakes,,, I mean how bad can crab cakes be ? Go here to find out ! Very weird menu. Many heavy disgusting cream sauces , I had Veal Ronald ... an especially bad choice. Stay Away
