A friend recommended my husband and I to the Westlawn Inn in North Beach. We went there to celebrate my husband's birthday. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Our waitress was Ashley and she was new to the restaurant. We had fun laughing with her as she stumbled a little in remembering the menu specials. I had one of... More

Visiting my daughter and son in law, they recommended this place. They visit often. Warmly greeted and immediately seated. Server was prompt in arrival and offered beverages, then gave us time to review and decide. Seemed knowledgeable about the menu and was helpful in deciding on drinks. Offering were wide enough in variety, and wine list adequate. We chose the... More

Amazing food. Frequently rated one of the best restaurants in the area. Easy walk from beaches and such. Definitely one of the nicer restaurants in the area but worth the price. Menu chances with the seasons but any time of year, you are going to find great food!

We were very impressed. Service was fantastic so was the food. They had live music which was a pleasant plus. It was two blocks from the water. It was a great way to spend a Saturday night. They also have tables outside

I recently decided to host a surprise birthday party for my wife and chose the Westlawn for the venue. We had never been to the Westlawn despite living in the area for 16 years. I found the owner to be very engaging and helpful during the planning process. My initial reservation was for 10 and at the last minute I... More

I had the pleasure of hosting my niece's baby shower at the Westlawn Inn. I live in NYC so arranging such an event in MD was not easy. However, the innkeepers of The Westlawn Inn, Jan and Lee, were absolutely marvelous. They guided me each step of the way, from decorations to menu. The party was wonderful. Everyone complemented me... More

This restaurant is the ground floor of an old house. Very nice atmosphere about 2 blocks from the water. The waitress was friendly and helpful. I had their fried red tomatoes, which had crab meat stacked between the tomatoes and was delicious. The cream of crab soup had a tabasco oil drizzled on it which took the soup up to... More

We went for Easter dinner. There were few restaurants in the area that had availability. We made a reservation though we did not need one. There were only 3 other tables taken in the restaurant. The service was very good and they even allowed our children to order from the bar menu. I had the duck and risotto. The risotto... More

The cream of crab soup is still the best ever. Both the pork chop and filet entrees were superb. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The martini was spot on. The wine choices are desirable.
