The family headed here for dinner last night and really enjoyed it. For a very reasonable price, you are treated to a a knife show, food cooked in front of you, and generous portions of pretty good food. You sit at a communal table and...after the small included soup and salad are served, the chef comes out and cooks your rice, meat, noodles and veggies on the grill at the table. You can also order sushi at either the grill tables or other small regular tables in another part of the restaurant. The grilled food is seasoned well, and you will not leave hungry. The decor is modern and understated, and parking is in the lot in front of the restaurant. We would definitely go back.More

We stumbled into this place on a Sunday and they had happy hour! The best part was the menu was very big for happy hour and the food was delicious too. We go here a lot now because the quality for the price is amazing!

Stopped there on a Saturday afternoon. Had shrimp tempura and shrimp dinner. First off the canned beer was warm, waitress said the refrigerator was broken. I wonder what else was being kept to warm in the kitchen. The soup had very little meat in it...which is probably good because the little pieces I did have were burnt. The shrimp tempura was over cooked because the shrimp was tough, it also had a hint of burnt flavor. The cooking oil probably needs changing. As for the shrimp dinner again the shrimp was way over cooked. It went onto the grill first and came off last. It ended up dried out and tough and some pieces had burnt spots. Any good cook knows that shrimp has a short cooking time. So basically don't order any shrimp here. My friend had scollops and steak. The steak was cooked correctly and so we're the scollops but the scollops had a chemically taste to them. A common problem with cheap scollops but a good restaurant would know that soaking them in cold water and lemon juice will get rid of most of that taste.More

Kabu has great sushi. The M16 is my favorite. It’s great to come here during happy hour when the sushi and drinks are about 1/2 price.

The sushi is good but the portions are small compared to the prices so I had to order extra food to get enough

Whenever my husband and I get a hungering for sushi, we visit Kabu. It's hardly every crowded when we go (we usually for in for afternoon lunches before dinner service), and bring our kids. They love the noodles there and vegetarian sushi. My husband and...I get a variety of sushi and sashimi, and it's always been good. Never slimy or old smelling. We enjoy it every time! (As a side, we haven't tried the habachi yet.) Try Kabu!More

I spoke to the manager on 12/22 about our experience. For a Saturday during the holidays, it was busy. But the birthday celebration we got for our friend allowed us to get seated fairly quick. Our server was Queeny (who apparently is new). She started...off with a attitude and less than welcoming tone when introducing herself and getting our drink orders. Then our cook was probably new too as he did not have that many good tricks and even messed some up badly, such as dropping his spatula. To add insult, the food was undercooked and eventually made me sick the next day (undercooked / old rice, undercooked mushrooms and noodles). We also asked Queeny if we could get a birthday celebration done for our fried who’s birthday was on 12/23. So Queeny asks for her ID and simply said “today is not 12/23” and walked off. Such a simple gesture was ignored and made the experience terrible. The manager even said that he would have approved that and didnt know why she said that... I have been here before and had great experiences but this one was one that ruined it for me.More

Happy hour has great prices and deals. Fast service and freshly made to order. Very filling and they have some great 1/2 price deals from 4-7pm Monday thru Friday. Food cooked in front of you at the tables is a fun experience.
