Met a couple of colleagues after a meeting. Ordered sushi (great) sashimi (great) and filet from hibachi. The steak was good, not great. Hibachi came with a couple shrimp. They were very good. Wish I would have just ordered the shrimp instead of filet.

Sakura Grill is a nice place for having a fun meal. I have been here at least five times and every experience is different. I don't enjoy having food thrown at me. But others seem to not mind. The food is good and sometimes the portions are small. Overall the food is tasty.

We had a very large group but the staff handled us with ease. The chefs were very entertaining, the service was efficient, and the food was delicious and came in generous portions. The ONLY complaint I have is that it was a hot day and their a/c was broken or at the very least, struggling to keep up. I would... More

Have eaten here on several occasions. The food is consistently excellent and the chefs prepare it in a manner that puts a smile on everybody's face, especially the youngsters. Tables seat 12 so prepared to be seated with other parties. Have never been disappointed.

I visited here with my parents. They wanted steak and actually we weren't expecting this kind of restaurant, but it was a pleasant surprise. You sit at a table with other people, all around a grill. The chef then cooks your food fresh in front of you. Included with your meal is soup, salad, and a small appetiser of mushrooms,... More

Arrived at the restaurant and could not believe that they had this handwritten sign stating that there would be an 18% gratuity charged for every party...i don't know if this is price gouging or not! This was my first time there in over 5 years, we normally go to Benihana's in Bethesda. The food and entertainment was mediocre and the... More

I've been to Sakura chains at Olney and Ocean City too, found this one located nearby and want to give a try. The sushi bar as usual gives you a mouth watering menus since I used to come solo yet the waiter gives me comfort as well as hibachi chef though I sit to strangers he makes jokes to everybody... It was my first dinner at a Japanese restaurant. The meal was good, cooked in front of us. And the cook even had time to play some quite entertaining tricks. Overall, excellent place to discover asian food

It may be canned and cliche, but the food is very good, the servers and food preparers are exceptionally polite and pleasant, and they will gladly accomodate special diets. We will go again.
