Worst place ever!! Ate here on Friday evening, April 14th with a friend. We dined in as well as ordered carry out. While dining in, we ordered an aloo tikki chaat masala, a poori bhaji and Ceylon paratha with vegetable korma. All of these dishes were average, but tasted okay. My friend and I then ordered carry out. Her dishes... More

For lunch there were only little choices, but these were good! The goat curry was very tasty. I would recommend it

This is a bare tables, paper napkins, minimal decor operation in a small suburban strip mall. No fancy-schmansy drama. It's not large, thus the buffet is not large, but adequate and appropriate for the venue. The standards are always present (Tandoori chicken, chicken tikka, naan bread, gulab jamun, a chickpea concoction, a spinach concoction). There is also an apparent random... More

Hands down, The Curry Leaf serves the best Indian cuisine in Laurel. Helpful, friendly staff makes for an all around pleasant dining experience.

I have been going here for a few years. I enjoy Indian food a lot and when I eat Indian, I either go here or one of the Rasika's downtown. I tend to prefer Curry Lead most of the time though, it is BYOB and a little less expensive for the entrees. The atmosphere is simple, the service is friendly... More

We were in the area and searched on TA for a place for lunch. Curry Leaf was near the top of the list, and deservedly so. Laurel seems to have more than its share of mediocre (or worse) chain restaurants. Curry Leaf's lunch buffet has much to recommend it. Lots of different dishes, each with its own taste. Tandoori chicken... More

Did not have time to eat in, so ordered takeout. The order was ready promptly as promised, packaged nicely and kept plenty warm (on a cool evening) in double layer paper bags with handles. I ordered both plain & garlic naan (the garlic was amazing!!), the Curry Leaf Veg Platter (came with sweet red and spicy green dipping sauces), Bagara... More

What I enjoyed about this restaurant: the food was well made and very flavorful. It didn't taste like restaurant food... the food made me feel like I was eating in someone's home. The yogurt with cucumbers (raita) was rich and when soaked up by garlic naan, melted in my mouth. For dinner I had spinach paneer. It was thick and... More

I have been going to this place since it opened several years ago and its quality has yet to fall off. The staff is always gracious and kind. Drinks are simple and priced right as well. I love Indian food and know good from bad, and this spot always gets it right.

I have never eaten here for dinner but have had lunch here at least half a dozen times in the last year. They have a great lunch buffet with enough choices to satisfy most people. Goat curry is excellent as is the chicken masala. The vegetable dishes are delicious and all the food is fresh. The staff is very friendly... More
