We made reservations and were immediately seated, atmosphere was outdated and did not reflect the area; typical large table seating with wooden captains chairs and they had nautical maps of New York on the tables. Food arrived - bread was not homemade and mediocre quality, food arrived late, some was cold, football game had started, we actually saw our waitress... More

We go here often for the local seafood: fresh oysters and crabs. The Kool's Deluxe Crab cakes are outstanding and the spicy Maryland Crab soup is better than average. The view is lovely at sunset. It's a nice place to relax, which is good because the servers are pretty clueless and the waiting time, to order, between courses, for the... More

Recently met up with my college girlfriends for the 3-hour Suicide Bridge restaurant's paddle boat cruise and crab feast. The boat was nice and the cruise was scenic. The food was "all right" - pretty good fried chicken and clam strips. The steamed crabs were not spectacular as they weren't hot and didn't have as much seasoning as I liked.... More

The menu offered nothing special to make it worth the drive out here. While our food was OK, the neighboring table of diners complaining to their waiter about their poor quality food did nothing to change our minds that we were having an over-priced, sub-par meal. Will not return.

Loved this restaurant and recommended it to my new community. I raved about the food and thought a short cruise would be great. The food on the boat what horrible and the boat was packed. Service was the worse. I'm a foodie and my community knows I'm fussy when it comes to food. So when I said what about a... More

We had called on Friday for a Sunday evening reservation. As it was our 46th, I asked for and was promised a table in the main dining room with a very nice view. Naturally, when we arrived, the main dining room was full and the only table near a window was between two families with children. The room was loud... More

The river vistas were fantastic, the crew was professional and friendly, and the boat itself was attractive and well-appointed. However, each time I have travelled on one of these boats, they have been packed to the gills. When I made my reservation, I asked about that and was told that although the boat was approved to carry 146 passengers, they... More

Our schedule led us to a mealtime between lunch and dinner. We had the dinner menu. I ordered broiled rockfish, and my wife had the stuffed shrimp and a cup of cream of crab soup. All turned out to be very good, and the service was as well, although the rockfish portion was a little small as a dinner entrée.... More

This place is one of our favorites on the Eastern Shore. We feel the Kool Crab crabcakes are the best on the Eastern Shore. Great place for all ages. Kids enjoyed feeding the ducks after dinner.

You must dine on Friday night. They have the most delicious raw oysters, and they keep them coming. The buffet has anything you could ask for, from soup to nuts. It is almost perfection. You have a relaxed atmosphere, with views of the water. Don't miss out on this treasure.
