This place is so charming and the wine so good, I plan to go back! Our waitress was awesome, she was so helpful and attentive. The food was pretty tasty. I highly recommend trying the Vineyard Selection 606 Ice Cream, which is locally made using their very own sweet Italian Red Wine 606. I purchased a bottle of the 606... More

the portions are what you would expect from a tapas type restaurant. And the food is excellent. Friendly , helpful , knowledgeable staff. The owner is usually in and is great for answering any questions you may have. ( even though he has trained the staff very well.) Great atmosphere and I love the wine room. You can purchase bottles... More

The vineyard is a wonderful place. The staff is fantastic. They know the wine and the menu cold. The owner joe has become a family friend. Andrea our favorite waitress is a gem. All of the people who work there have one thing in mind - you. To is it is like family. The place is so comfortable. Request seating... More

My colleague and I were attending a two-week class at Aberdeen Proving Ground so we were looking for outstanding local restaurants. Vineyards Winebar hit it out of the park! Great service with an eclectic tapas menu. The wine selection is pretty good. I tried a Chardonnay which was excellent. My colleague tried a sparkling wine which was equally enjoyable. For... More

We ate here for lunch. There is a small lunch menu of mostly sandwiches and salads. The food was pretty good, but the portions left you wanting more to eat. The strawberry field salad ($9) was genuinely tiny. The Cuban sandwiches were fairly good, but not worth $9. There was a pompous air about the place, but that is probably... More

After walking around town and the promenade, we saw this place and decided to give it a try (without a reservation on a Saturday around 5 pm). They were holding tables inside but had some outside in the back which was very nice. Their wine list is extensive and you can get 3 oz. tastings as well as a 6... More

The B&B that we were staying at recommended that we should come here. Having just arrived in town we stopped by for lunch. The wine that I selected was a fantastic Chenin Blanc (my favorite grape) – it was delicious; I ended up buying a bottle to bring home. My girlfriend selected a Pinot Gris that was just OK. The... Really enjoyed our visit to The Vineyard Wine Bar. 80 different wines available by the glass! Menu was small plates, so be aware of that. We ordered salads, a mojo pork flat bread, the south Asian meatballs and the blue port pork tenderloin. Our server was very knowledgeable about the wines and the menu. I would definitely eat there again!

We came here again, but this time for lunch during the work week. As always, phenomenal food and wine, and lucky for us, seating was immediate. Got 2 glasses of wine, the Cubano and turkey/cranberry panini, and cheesecake for dessert. Staff was attentive, and manager stopped over to ask us if all was good. Excellent place to eat and would... Everything we ordered we enjoyed once it arrived, both the wine and food. The specialty plate portions are mostly tapas sized. My meal was the duck and the Chesapeake ravioli, but i should have order another to make a meal. For the others in my party, 2 was fine. For me it was barely an appetizer. So we all liked... More

Description
Lovely restaurant. We passed by it on our drive through town, and not wanting a heavy dinner decided to give it a try. Service was fabulous. Food was lovely. Everything was made from scratch on premises - no "prep" foods. Wine list is outstanding. We asked for the waiter to put together a nice wine selection for us to sample and he gave us at least one local wine, which we ended up buying at their wine store. Many of their foods and wines are imported from Europe and other places. I'd give it 5 out of 5 stars.
