Went to Bonfire BBQ restaurant for carryout this aft, we’ve been there several times pre-covid. We like their food. Sign on the door, big letters, YOU MUST HAVE A MASK ON TO ENTER THIS RESTAURANT. Went to the counter to pick up our order. 2...people behind the counter, a young lady wearing her mask below her nose. And, the owner (who we’ve seen many times before) without any mask on. He is putting food orders into bags, my order right in front. No mask, and breathing all over my food, and others. He asks me if I’m there for a carryout order, I say yes. And I say, “No mask? “Like the sign on your door?” He says roughly, “NO MASK,” as if he were challenging me to say something . So I said something. I told him I didn’t want my order, you can keep it, turned around and walked out. Not sure why I wasn't allowed to enter the restaurant without a mask, but the owner inside who is handling food doesn't have to wear one.More

This is a divey place but with a lot of character. The pulled chicken was fantastic! The sides were excellent and portions hefty. Get the soup.

I looked up “restaurants nearby” and took a hunch that Bonfire Outdoor Charcoal Grill would be a place I would like. I mean, w/ that name how could it go wrong? Well, the hunch was right and it is awesome!! I ordered burnt ends, which...they use a combination of beef & pork, so right there... and they were so tender and flavorful. I paired them w/ green beans and fries — which are fresh cut, so they’re hitting all the marks so far, right? And then on my tray is a little cup of what the call Bonfire soup, and it is made w/ bits of all their meat cuttings — BONUS! I’m throwing on ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for those unexpected treasure.More

Order hot beef sandwiches, gravy was as thin as water, asked for no gravy on fries and got gravy anyway. Order online and was charged a convenience fee:WTF!!!! 1ST AND LAST VISIT

This is a great place, everything was awesome. The pit beef was better than the place with all the publicity across town. The horseradish sauce also better. Try the bbq beans, a unique spin and wonderful. Plus eat in and get a (small) cup of...house soup as a bonus.More

You will definitely not walk away hungry. I had the ribs with 2 wings, the wings are wonderfully seasoned and you get the whole wing, not a half section. Lots of meat on the ribs, whoever cuts the ribs does not skimp. The green beans...were great alsoMore

We were running an errand in the area and decided to stop here for supper-- it was delicious and this is my new favorite BBQ place in the area. I'm originally from Texas and can be a bit picky about BBQ and I'm not always...a fan of pork BBQ (beef is the way I was raised). But I had the best the rack of pork ribs ever here-- it was fall-off-the-bone tender and the sauce was outstanding-- sweet with some tang! Plus they served this on squishy white bread (which is a staple of my Texas upbringing). The Old Bay chicken wings were a nice tip to Maryland-- crunchy on the outside and tender inside. The sides were great-- potato salad with a little bit of mustard and lots of dill, coleslaw, mac and cheese (other people got fries and these looked good too). There's a lot of take out business here, but the restaurant has some nice tables and they give you lots of napkins (which you will need with the sauce). Our server and the other staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, and accomodating. Try this place!More

Since I am a huge fan of another popular pit barbecue restaurant in Baltimore I decided to try this one. No comparison. The other place has never disappointed. I ordered the brisket salad. My best description is it lacked finesse, just a tin full of...lettuce with a few strips of meat on top. I should have ordered a sandwich but I was trying to stay away from carbs. My sister ordered the turkey and brisket platter. The meat and fries were good but who the heck puts carrots in greens (yuck!); they were also sweet instead of savory and had too many stems. We both thought cost didn't match the quantity and quality. Should have ordered the buy one sandwich get one free because the meat was good!More
