Nothing was the same in this old standby. The Maryland crab soup while flavorful lacked crab meat, the "Admiral" prime rib left a lot to be desired at the $34 price point, very very small cut, and slightly overdone lacking juices and an overall disappointment. The "lump" crab cake just wasn't. All in all we just won't be back.

Have eaten here several times throughout the years. I keep trying! It is expensive. The staff is well trained and very polite and friendly. The food was okay. For the price you pay I would expect the food to be better. Atmosphere is good if you like the open dining.

Try to visit "off times" to avoid the crowd. Have been going there for 20 years...can't wait to go again. I prefer seafood without sauces or coatings and they do a good job.

We stopped at Fisherman's Inn on the way to Chestertown, MD. As a party of 6, we expected a wait, but we were seated promptly and our server came over immediately. She was very nice, knew the menu and the specials. The lunch prices were excellent, definitely NOT over priced. We had Md Crab soup, the BBQ shrimp sandwich special,... More

Vacationing on the way to Chincoteague Island for the pony swim. We needed a place to eat lunch. Easy off, easy on highway. Large building with a very large and open dining room. The dining room has glass windows all the way around. Waitress was prompt, and the service was goo. Prices seemed alittle bit on the touristy side, but... More

For the amount I spent it would have been nice to have walked out of there with recommendation, but the service was slow and some of my meal was not cooked properly or should I say over cooked. The last 2 times I have eaten there I have felt the same way. So I probably will never go back.

The food was good, not great as the prices would suggest. The service was excellent. $100 for me and my pre-teen to have dinner. Portions for her $35 steak dinner were rather skimpy. I wouldn't go back.

Possibility of rain had us choosing the inn. Atmosphere was very supper club like. Our server was friendly and attentive. Food tasted good, had soft shell crabs and tidewater rockfish. Both entrees were tasty.

Stop at Fisherman's INN on our way to and fro the shore. It is always good food for reasonable pricing. Seafood is always fresh and varied in the ways it is prepared. The chef at FI is creative with appetizers and entrees alike. We'll always order one of the specials listed for the day, and have always been pleased. This... More

Great location, very nice atmosphere. Very good food. Pricey but the atmosphere and quality justify it. Great place for a "special" dinner. Very upscale for a true seafood restaurant. Fits the bill for a place to bring your parents on Sunday etc... not a date spot if you are under 50.
