This is a clean crab house with a menu that will please the non crab picker. Crabs are made with the right amount of spice and come out steaming hot, just like they should. Place got very busy so the food was served a little slow, but we sat and enjoyed the view and each other's company. That's why we... More

If you are lucky enough to get a table by the window you won't be disappointed with the view. The food was good, the server slow, the prices a little higher than average. The biggest issue was the noise, even though it wasn't crowded I couldn't hear the person with me. I can only imagine how loud it gets in... More

You want delicious, local (blue) steamed crabs? THIS is the place. The house spice is one of the best. This is Maryland. This is what it means to be the shore. Great prices. Fantastic servers, delicious sides to go with those steamed crabs: corn on the cob, hush puppies. Unmistakable. It can be loud, the clientele can get rather noisy,... More

We got here just before the Tuesday lunch rush kicked in with a party of six and when we had no wait to get a table, we had many a waits during the meal. To start, strike 1: we had to flag someone down to seek out our assigned wait person (now I know why they are known by that... More

My husband and I came here for a late lunch. Although they were quite busy, we were seated right away and we had a friendly and efficient server. The food was good - not the best, but respectably good - but a bit expensive since you're paying for the location. For us the biggest downside was how loud it was.... More

Good seafood dishes in a very very casual atmosphere. Can get noisy when people pounding their crabs!

We have been going to Harris' for about forty years. Over the years we have tried almost everything on the menu. We always seem to end up having the Chesapeake Bay Basics: oysters, hard and soft crabs steamed soft clams and carbohydrate sides. The food is consistently good and the setting perfect. Exactly what you would expect from an old... More

I have been going to Harris's Crab House for many years. In fact my car automatically turns off route 50 automatically to go there. This is a great crab restaurant though they do have some non seafood dishes, though I don't know why someone would select a non seafood meal at a crab house. In season, I recommend outside seating... We love this spot- great water views and a no frills no fuss atmosphere. If you don't feel like cracking crabs there is plenty more the menu offers. The crab soup is yummy as is the key lime pie. This place is our first go-to when we are on Kent island!

There are several places you can stop for Crabs near the Bay Bridge and was referred to Harris Crab House by a friend. Halfway point to Ocean City Md for us so perfect break in the drive. Ate crabs on the way down and they were so good we made plans to get more on the way home. Best crabs... More
