Went to Walker’s for the first time for a family birthday dinner. Our group of 7 was accommodated nicely after emailing Octavius, one of the managers, for a reservation on what turned out to be quite a busy night. The menu is just the right size and a separate children’s menu was provided. Beers and other adult drinks were yummy. We sampled and enjoyed appetizers of Brick Oven Brussel Sprouts, Smoked Wings, and Salmon Toast Points. Our group had an assortment of entrees from my spinach and apple salad with grilled chicken (with a maple apple dressing that was wonderful) to a Walker Burger (made with JW Treurh Angus Beef), to a Crispy Chicken Sandwich to a Cobb Salad to a Big Mac Pizza (this one was just ok). We enjoyed them all. Our server Jess was very nice and just attentive enough. The newly renovated space is very attractive, and the patrons seemed to be thoroughly enjoying themselves. Walker’s is definitely a place we will visit again.

Walker's Tap and Table has a little bit of that millennial slick look with the black, silver and white décor and the light wood luxury vinyl flooring. This was our 1st visit and bumped back our arrival when we saw their happy hour start was moved back from 11am to 3pm. The 5 of us overall liked the place, but the one thing that drives us crazy is when a place touts their happy hour and there is little or no information about it on the table and then the waiter can't answer questions about it and then overcharges you on the happy hour items. For the food, I liked my thin crust Eastern Shore pizza that had a great red sauce, crab meat, corn and Old Bay. My wife liked her Tap and Table salad that was a basic salad that she added chicken to. Their beer selection was good with the Peabody Heights Astrodon the surprise hit of the evening, a hazy citra IPA that never unclouded. Their happy hour is now 3 to 6 with $2 off drafts and $3 domestic bottles. They have $11 craft pizzas, but check your bill. The pepperoni bacon pizza also got high marks and all the positives, over road the only negative.

Thanks so much for your review and feedback. Sorry our server drop the ball regarding happy hour info and ringing your order correctly, we will be sure to speak with our staff about this. I have already met with our General Manager regarding this. The reason we do not have anything on the table regarding happy hour is we are not putting anything on the tables during Covid. This is to limit any cross contamination from other guests. We do have language on our menus that mentions our Happy Hour and we will be sure to coach the team up even more regarding it. Thanks again, and we look forward to seeing you at Walkers soon!

Came on a Sunday for lunch with my wife and two kids. No issue getting a table, with about 1/3 of the tables filled. We had great service, with a very attentive waitress who was very helpful of my 7yo and his many questions about the chicken tenders. :) Great beer selection. The food was very good as well ... I had both a wood-fired pizza and wings, and received very generous portions. My wife said the same thing about her portions ... much more than she expected to received and the food was outstanding. We'll certainly be back!

Extremely satisfied with this local find! We waited about 20 minutes to be seated on a Wednesday night, but it was worth the wait. After we were seated, we did not have to wait long for food and the service was great.
We enjoyed the burrata appetizer & a cup of chilled corn soup which was delicious! The “Route 97” BLT was our favorite entree - get the egg on it. If you are feeling a cocktail, the habanero honey margarita was yummy, unique, and refreshing!

Great atmosphere and convenient location. Still a relatively new restaurant, and the menu keeps evolving. Sandwiches, entrees and unique pizza combos are all creative and delicious. Highlight is definitely the large beautiful bar and local staff. Highly recommend!

Holding down the corner of as small shopping center, Walkers is a surprise when you go inside! Featuring outside seating during the pandemic, this is a good choice to eat and relax. Good wings done in a few different ways my favorite was the honey habanero. The Margherita pizza is delicious! Thin crust, with a nice sauce, fresh mozzarella and basil. The "Route 97" BLT was the bomb- creative and special with its fried green tomato, bacon, homemade pimento cheese, arugula, honey habanero sauce on Brioche. This is a due again! The Walker Burger was served on Brioche with lettuce, pickles, tomato, red onion and a special sauce. Cooked like you like it, Oh did I say Angus Beef.

We were about an hour into a trip and decided to stop for a nice lunch instead of fast food. What a good decision! Walker's is just 2 miles off of I-70 and worth the extra mile. I enjoyed the Route 97 BLT which was an unusual combination of fried green tomatoes, pimento cheese and bacon. The habanero honey was not too spicy but added a lovely zip. My husband had the black bean burger and said it was great. Both sandwiches were served with hand cut fries which were a definite step up from the usual. A great stop!

Wow! I can't believe I hadn't been to Walker's until last night. Everything was just lovely—including the food, drinks, service, music, and overall ambience. The menu is fresh and inventive, making it hard to choose. (Hint: Order the Wisconsin cheese curd appetizer—you won't be disappointed!) Our server was attentive, friendly, and fun, and he easily accommodated a sauce swap on our wood-fired pizza. The restaurant was hoppin' on a Thursday night, and despite a 20-minute estimate for a table, we were seated in just a few minutes. I've already made plans to return in a few weeks with my family, and I can't wait. :)

This place has really been transformed inside from previous restaurant. Very nice decor, great bar area which part of can be opened to outside. Somewhat of a limited menu with some unusual pairings, that actually work. Quite refreshing offerings that you don’t see everyday. Started with the cheese curds which were a disappointment unfortunately. Most of the cheese had been fried out, but the dipping sauce was delicious. My BF got the the hotshot pizza which he raved about. My Route 97 BLT was very tasty, although the pimento cheese was hard to find. All the food going by looked very good. Will definitely return to try out the wings and some other pizzas.

Was visiting family in the area and went for dinner....Brief wait for a table but the manager offered us a beer flight while we were waiting. Beer selection is good if not a little heavy on IPA's...Were out of the brown ale I ordered but the server made a great suggestion. I had a flatbread for dinner - tasted great. Everyone else enjoyed their meal as well. Look forward to going back...

Walkers is in a strip mall on rt. 97. Decent atmosphere and accommodates diners with outside seating preferences. Started with the deviled eggs which are amazing, if you go you have to try these. My wife had the papadelle pasta in a mushroom sauce which was good. My brother the beer can chicken Cobb salad which he loved ,my sister in law had the bean burger which she said was terrific. I had the rt.97 blt which was ok. The fried green tomatoes were somewhat greasy. It is an interesting sandwich, but missed the mark. While the menu seems limited, there is a lot of variety. Service was professional and efficient.

Nice casual place to eat on a Sunday night. Ordered the fish and chips. Very fresh and nicely coated on top of Cole slaw. The Fries were bits and pieces and was not happy about that. I later learned that they cut their own French fries, but was surprised that the fries were so small. Tartar sauce was good but charged an extra 50 cents when I asked for another serving, but no one told me that. The food was very good and its a nice place.

Currently on an east coast trip from Charleston to NYC and can easily say this is the best service we’ve experienced in 3 states (luxury restaurants included). Thank you to our server Matt for being attentive (but not toooo attentive) and super down to earth. Food and cocktails were delicious too!

My husband and I just got back from a fabulous lunch at Walker’s Tap & Table. The pace has been on my to try list for a while and we don’t made it out there and it did not disappoint. My husband loved his fish and crips, and the Walker burger was the best I’ve had in a while. On top of that the service was excellent. We will definitely be back!

We have ordered from Walker's quite a few times and have yet to be disappointed. i always get the bean burger because it is absolutely delicious. My husband and daughter go for the pizzas and they too are fresh and delicious. Note that for take out, order early because the wait can be long on a Friday evening.
