We had a chance to visit The Granary on a trip through to Rock Hall. I had heard very good things about the restaurant, but never ventured off 213 to actually eat there. I'm glad we finally did! Ninety-five percent of the boats were not in the water yet and the Sassafras was churned up and muddy, but the sun... More

We go to the Granary almost every Friday night and are never disappointed. From beer battered fish to chicken pot pie, its always good. Trying to be good and save for dessert, I had the Southwest Salas with grilled chicken last time. The chicken was perfect, salad was great, and good dressing on the side. Reading other reviews from over... More

I live in VA and my sister and Mom live in PA but we have a history in Maryland, so we both drove to the Granary Restaurant in Georgetown, MD to have lunch over the holidays. We chose New Year's Eve lunch because she is 88 and is recovering from a broken hip. We had the restaurant to ourselves and... More

Cream of crab soup had little meat..nachos were huge. Beer prices were pretty cheap at $3 domestic drafts, craft beer for $5.50. Very disappointed with the buffalo chicken sandwich. Seemed like a processed chicken patty dipped in some sauce vice an actual piece of chicken. Burgers were burgers. Only person in the restaurant on a Sunday night but very little... More

Our original plan was to go see a band at the Kitty Knight House on the opposite side of the harbor but due to bad weather the band cancelled and we decided to try the Granary for dinner instead. We had come by boat and, Two Toots the marina shuttle, took us across and the captain even offered to pick... More

The Granary is a typical seafood restaurant located on the Sassafras River. We had a Groupon and went for our anniversary on a Thursday night. I had the half crab cake dinner with one crab cake, sweet potato waffle fries, and I swapped the veggie side that came with it for asparagus, The crab cake was all crab meat and... More

We visited the Granary for an impromptu early dinner on the first weekend after kids were back in school. We requested and received a window table. The server was attentive and very pleasant. The crab nachos were terrific, as was the goat cheese risotto that accompanied the perfectly seared and grilled salmon. The half-portion size was ideal for me. My... More

I travelled from NE Phila with my 87 year old mother and daughter on a memory tour of the Sassafras River. My parents boated there for 40+ years. We were pleasesd to see the Granary was open. The hostess was friendly, the waitress was nice, the room was fairly newly redone and the views of the river and marinas were... More

Went for a late lunch as they advertise 1/2 burgers on Wednesdays on their webpage. What they don't tell you is this does not start until 4pm so be aware. I guess their other specials do not start until 4 also so I'll know for next time. 4 of us all got the burgers anyway since we were craving a... More

Upstairs restaurant a nice place for lunch and dinner - casual atmosphere , great sunset views . Cream based crab soup excellent . Lively bar weekends and special Trivia night. Sassafras Grill downstairs , larger parties and more appropriate for younger kids.
