Everything they say is true, it's in a gas station convenience store, sitting is cramped, they sell liquor and they make truly wonderful Mexican food. Basic street food took me back to the streets of Mexico. Vamanos!!

Don't be worried that there is no parking and the restaurant is attached to a convenience store and gas station. Walk inside and you'll see like a dozen folks in action cranking out first rate tacos for the hungry hordes. I had the short rib taco and beef tongue. I'm usually not quite that adventurous - but my companions convinced... More

Like the rest of the reviews have stated, font be fooled by the location! Yes its a gas station and the locale is in the liquor part of the store, but the food will make you forget where you are! The prices are a bit pricey but well worth it, and the tacos de lengua are 3.60 each and the... More

This is a small restaurant and liquor store that sells wonderful tacos! Seating is limited, so I would say it is probably better for take out than to count on finding a seat. Great value!

When a friend first told me about Taco Bar I was reluctant to try it. A Taco and Beer/Wine store in a gas station along the highway sounds like a stomach ache waiting to happen. But, after 3 separate people recommended it to me highly, I figured I'd give it a go. You must do the same! These are the... More

Today, I didn't want to eat café food at work and my officemate suggested we eat here. She's been eating here with her family but I never knew it existed. I've eaten in all the restaurants in RIO and the neighborhood but never noticed this tucked in Mexican food. We went early like 11:30 a.m. and found parking. The line... More

It's on Fields Road right off i370 near the Rio Shopping center. It's attached to a gas station, but has its own entrance, small inside seating available and small outside seating. They have a great lunch menu, general stuff, tacos, burritos, salads, chicken, rice, beans etc. They have a salsa bar which is way good, the food is cheap, its... More

No joke; this place is in a gas station. It was impossible to find a parking spot but we circled a couple of times and made it happen. My husband and I ordered 2 of every taco (including veggie). Each taco has the meat of two and are served with 2-3 shells so could've spread that out. The cow tongue... More
