I met friends at the Gaithersburg Melting Pot for an early dinner. As a group, we've gone to multiple MP locations. This one was a stand out in a good way. Probably the only negative was that it was so dark inside. We all had...to use the flashlights on our phones to see the menu. On to the good... Our table was handled by Kelcey. She was fabulous. She was funny, prompt, and helpful. I've probably been to MP at least 10 times and never had a server who was so good. She was even helpful with the child in our party. We ordered the bourbon bacon cheddar cheese, which is only available at a few locations. It's something I'd love to have every night. We selected the "choose your own" entrees, since we each like different items. I had the chicken breast and three different types of beef. The garlic sirloin and peppercorn filet were especially good. We had the original chocolate (milk chocolate with crunchy peanut butter). That's always a pleasant finish to a good meal. Kelcey offered to split our check without our asking, which was great. We have reservations here for this coming weekend. I hope Kelcey will be our server!More

My husband surprised me for our wedding anniversary. We've been to one in Myrtle beach (which is great) but not to this one. Dylan was our server and did an excellent job. He answered questions and very helpful. The food was delicious as usual. It's...a bit pricey but definitely worth it for special occasions.More

My daughter had her B-day party and it turned out to be a great choice - a) affordable for a full menu and less expensive than dining here on the regular menu - b) you get plenty of food and seconds if you need and...a full 3 courses with drinks - c) friendly staff. The manager made it a point to stop by first and then twice later - the waiter was great and made things super flexible when needed (spicy broth replaced with oil for main course, etc.). The standouts are the cheese and chocolate fondue - the main course isn't as great - but that's the only negative.More

I had the time of my life with the funniest waiter I've ever had in my life. His name was Jose and he is a Latin version of John Candy, the Canadian actor from the '80s. What a funny guy! Jose made the meal for...us. Believe me, some servers don't know how to serve but Jose will take care of you. The cute Asian waitress was very helpful, too. Food was outstanding and drinking a Melting Pot Mule was so delicious. If you're looking to have a good time, this is the place to go. Make sure you ask for Jose and have fun!More

My girlfriend and I went here to celebrate a romantic night out. Our server (Logan) was amazing. The food, the service, and the atmosphere of the place really made this a romantic evening for us. The rose petals and candles were an especially nice touch....This place is typically out of my price range. However, due to the fantastic experience I had here, I will definitely be making another reservation here very soon!More
