Salsa was freshly made and chips were good. Had shrimp & lobster soup that was really tasty. Also had taco that were delicious. Nice atmosphere - can eat inside or outside. Service was quick and friendly. Good variety of food and drinks to choose from.

We have been going to Uncle Julio's for years, and if anything, the quality of the food has improved. The selection has gotten more interesting, and the UJ app is good since one gets back a reasonable amount from the bill over time. However, one thing that makes the dining experience less than satisfying is that the UJ is FAR... More

We went for dinner on a Sunday afternoon. The drinks were very good. Freshly made margaritas. Chips nice and thin and crispy. Food was delicious. I had this sampler to try a variety of offerings. It was somewhat difficult to enjoy due to the constant clamour and crowd. Choose a lighter time and enjoy.

Having lunch with my daughter and granddaughter at Uncle Julio's this pass Sunday at Rio. The complimentary salsa and chip was pretty good. The food is nothing spectacular and doesn't really stand out. I order Juanitas platter -- the pork tamale and chicken enchilada was so dry and salty, that I can't finish even half of that. My daughter order the... More

We were celebrating my birthday. Between the loud music and people trying to yell above it, even ordering was a chore. Even so the food was very good. The chocolate pinata was a lot of fun and enough for the 7 of us. Although I loved the food, we will not be returning.

This is an update to my historical reviews. We continue to be regular visitors to Uncle Julio's, but let often lately. Seems they are working on a bit of a repositioning, having renovated the interiors to make it look less chain-like and more of a nicer restaurant. The bar seating has been significantly expanded, leaving the waiting area outside. This... More

It was late when I visited the place like 930pm on a sunday. The food arrived quickly but it just lacked any flavor. The salsa and chips were excellent. The amount of food was good and it was served hot. It looks appealing and was fresh.

3 stars... not the worst, not the best. it's just there when you want a strong margarita with your fajita as the chipotle down the block can't deliver the same. typical chain menu, but their tortillas are actually pretty good (made on site). good bar, great patio if you can get a table, huge restaurant but always seems to be... A reasonable walk from the local hotels. Parking is available behind the building. Arrived around 5:30 on a Wednesday night and promptly seated. Place was filling up fast, lots of families and a mix of business consultants it looked like. By the time we left after 6:30 there was a pretty good line. It is a big loud place, but... More

Called in here for a quick lunch. I had the chicken fajitas. For me although the fajitas were very good I found the chicken lacking taste. There were some beans and other sides such as guacamole and sour creme plus various chopped salad item but nothing had any kick at all to it. Also everything was supposed to be cooked... More
