Enjoyed a b-day meal with friend. Drinks were a little pricey but good. The fresh guacamole made at the table was very good. Of what everyone the fajitas were best, but food was average over all. The group did share a chocolate piñata. The desert feed all six of us...it was a novelty and very good.

Typical chain Tex Mex food. I thought the side of rice served with my fajitas was terrible. Chicken/steak fajitas were good as was the salsa served with the chips, beans below average. Service is slow. I think our waitress had too many tables and was responsible for too much. Wouldn't go again as there are better places.

Ordered the Honey chipotle chicken fajitas and they were delicious! I didn't really care for the rice and beans but that's ok. Definitely check out this place if you want some good Mexican food that doesn't taste like a whole pack of seasoning was poured in your mouth.

The highlight of the meal was the outdoor dining, overlooking the lake. Service was very good, but the food was just average Tex Mex. My kids did enjoy watching the ducks and geese nearby as we dined, but the meal itself was nothing to make me want to return.

I have been going to Rio Grande/Uncle Julio's for 25 years. Generally I would give the cuisine a 5, but the fish tacos at the restaurant were so bland!!! Parking on the street is difficult, so I recommend the garage. The restaurant will validate your ticket at the hostess station, which will give you a few dollars off of parking.... More

Visited for a nice family dinner. Super loud. Slow service. Dining room full of little league teams doing cheers which made for an unhappy dinner for everyone who wasn't them.

After being recommended to this location i was highly disappointed. First off the waitress was clueless, not knowing what happy hour consists of. Asked for chips and salsa for an appetizer, chips came with no salsa. I ordered a patron margarita and my date ordered a beer. As soon as she dropped the drinks we ordered fajitas for two. Literally... More

We love Uncle Julio's. The drinks are great and the food never disappoints. It offers both indoor and outdoor seating, weather permitting. The food has excellent flavor. It holds up well if you decide to do carry out instead of dine in. The occasional inattentive wait-staff and wrong orders (due to not listening in the first place), otherwise I would... More

The food was amazing, hands down the best Carnitas I've had in a long time. I give Jessica 5 stars, friendly and fast. I would recommend you stop in for a taste.

Food is okay, but this is clearly a chain restaurant. Nice bar area, but menu was unimpressive. Won't be returning.
